You have to register it...LoL. There are other software to use but that's the easier one.

Capturing video images like mine is easy..no artwork to be done first hand...jubeichan..you're avatar looks good...are you the artist? and is that from 'Samurai Champloo'?

^^

If you have real alternative for WMP, then using BSplayer would allow you to capture them. But then again, I don't know if you plan to make gifs from them or if you just want snapshots :P

many many many thanks for your quick answer. but i can't get what you mean>.<. :goggle: i would like to do snapshots and gifs as well

by crossvii
haha... well, BSplayer's capture is alittle slow, so you'll have to pause and capture continously. It's not impossible though =P and the quality isn't bad either.

by gunjourui
^ the quality is good but I hate this method anyway coz BSPlayer always acts strange after my taking few caps (fullscreen is messed up)

I used Virtual Dub. ImageReady to touch up. :thumleft:

hey this is my first try :D :lol

since i don't have real alternative for WMP,and can't use BSplaye then.I used the HyperSnap-DX 5 to capture images from .rmvb , i need to pause and capture continously manually >.< and then used Image Ready to make the gif. the quality is not so good. how do u think ?? :whistling: Image

Angel, that's actually really good :P and you did it manually  Now, on your second try you gotta beat that.... or else I'll make fun of you. just kiddingg :P

The only thing I'm concerned about when making these, is the size. I mean, mines are usually huge  But hey, yours is dancing around at 224kb, nice haha.

Creating GIF Images/Avatars From Video

I recall seeing a tutorial for doing this once on here somewhere, but I can;t find it now using search...

So I'm wondering if anyone could share a tutorial for doing it? Or at least suggest a vague method or perhaps a program to try?

I'm aware of using many screenshots and a program like Adobe Premiere... but maybe there's something easier I don;t know of.

I also thought it was a sticky, but isn't. Here you go, support section:
http://www.d-addicts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=23910

Perhaps a Mod can melt these two threads?

I personally use Virtual Dub to cut the video scenes which I want

and then switch between Ulead gif animateur (video manipulation)
and Corel PhotoShop (picture manipulation)

Yoroshiku :-)

hey guys, i have a question, i'm using AdobeImageReady to import the image sequence i created by Virtualdub http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread. ... light=make (thanks yamatsumi for providing the link)
the problem is that i want to ask text and stuffs in every single frame but it just won't let me, i can add text for one frame at a time but whenever i select all the frames to do that, it disable all the button that i need in order to do that (except the Modify button), so anybody knows why and plz help

(btw: when i used Vitualdbub, i chose tga as the format outcome of my images, is that a problem?)
