anyone else watch the first half and think the story is twisted?...I think there's just too many stuff going on at once. I rather they focus on Angelica...she looks really good in wuxia...haha, rather different than all the craziness that she plays in horror movies.

I hope they release the second half soon...im dying here.

The DVD's are back (apparently). Set to release on November 14th. Hopefully these won't get delayed again...

I'm currently watching this drama... slowly so I won't feel depressed that the second part of this drama hasn't come out yet.
Hopefully it will come out soon.

Under one of my searching at BtChina I found a very strange torrent.
They say that it's the sequel to A Chinese Tale Story (where Nic was in),
but if you look at the starring list and the pictures that are posted with it you can see that it's actually Da Ren Wu.
I think that someone has recut the drama into a movie, i.e. a SPOILER movie of the whole drama.

What would you then do? Would you download this torrent and watch the movie? Or wait patiently for the second part to be released?

Just checked back on the link, and suddenly it's in stock! Since when did YesAsia ever release anything before they were supposed to?

wow...out during my midterm week...studying is going to suck coming up.

I was a little skeptical when I heard Angelica was the lead in this series, but shes doing a really good job. Although I still think Liu Tao is the prettiest, she looks so good in that white dress.

really enjoying this series :)

just watched episode 17 - and i'm wondering if i misunderstood (because i was half asleep) or is it as really screwed up as i interpreted it, any insight would be appreciated
when they showed the body of the 'real' Yang Fan to that girl (sorry forgot her name) - was his face all wrecked because of damage from fighting, or was it because they ripped it off so they could make the fake Yang Fan  haha cuz now every time i see Nic Tse, I'm just imagining his face is a bloody skin mask and he's like some weird zombie ahhhh. Takes away from the 'romance' of the story. LOL.

I recently watched this:
It was said in later episodes that Su Rong Rong attached the face of the real Yang Fan to fake Yang Fan and vice versa. So the real Yang Fan now has the face of the other guy.

This series is ok, but I wasn't that thrilled with it. I watch a lot of Chinese traditional series as long as they are in Mandarin and have English subtitles. There are a few other series with Nicholas Tse that are available right now including

Wing Chun
The Spirit of the Sword

Both are available with English subtitles on d-addicts

This is an old drama but I meant to watch it a few years ago. I'm just starting it now and I know it will be a good drama to watch, at least I am hoping it will be.
