Aya Ueto works out at my gym
I moved to japan last week to start my job. There's a gym I'm going to join in the basement of my building so I checked it out during my lunch break. guess who was on the treadmill 8 ft from me? ?? Aya...

i was in a suit at the time so i coudn't go into the area w/o changing which i didn't have time for since i was just grabbing lunch. she was with a personal trainer and some friend who was taking kick boxing lessons and was also a slam piece.
pretty amazing though how a celeb like that in japan can work out in public w/o being bothered. can't imagine that going on in LA w/ the paparazzi.

hey guys,
wanted to follow up;
sorry but i don't plan on taking any pics of her cause i wouldn't want to lose my membership or be a creep. i was talking to my coworker and he told me a lot of celebs go to this gym. there's a huge window in the front where you can see in, so if anyone lives in the area and wants to stroll by, I say go for it and you might see someone famous or at least some rich babes. (it's the gym in the bottom of mori tower by the bento place...)
once i start going regularly i'll let you know if i see her again since i know she's a pretty popular actress and some people might find it interesting.

Yeah I was confused too...the idol mentality of Japan is just as intense, if not more so than any other countries with big entertainment industries. I mean, TV drama viewerships in Japan can get up to 30%...that's almost unheard of in any other country, maybe Eastenders or American Idol get that high but not often.montevi wrote:Obviously you haven't heard of Friday magazine....Keizou wrote:i understand
yeah its ture, celebs in Japan aren't usually stalked like in America
Aya is cute but I wish she'd never sing again...ever
