[Survey] Your Best J-dramas: Ranked! (Update #17)
It's the Too Busy update! I've just updated The Master Error List, check it out again here: http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic_42923_375.htm
The Top drama takes a lot more time though, so maybe end of this month when the season's over?

No problem, actually I was talking about others who specifically list "1 & 2". If it's just "Hana Yori Dango" then I count it as Season 1.Namida Iro wrote:Ara.. Sorry I forgot to state which season I like more..
Then it shall be.. Hana Yori Dango season 1.
Since I don't count dramas that haven't ended, come back and let me know if you still like Proposal once you're finished it.tritochjay wrote:1.Kekkon Dekinai Otoko
2.Proposal Daisakusen (tentative- depending on the outcome)
3.Nodame Cantabile
Sorry, you're going to have to separate the seasons.marion_kie wrote:I've made up my decission w/ these 3!!!
HANAYORI DANGO 1&2
Thank you! People are actually fixing their rankings! Yes!!aqatha wrote:aqatha (Double ranking: HYD 1 & 2)

ushiushi, just curious, are you making the survey for your pHD or for Japanese drama industry or just for fun??
Well, when I watch many Jdorama.. I just can't tell which is the best.
suggestion, pm to Ruroshin or any other moderators, admin to cooperate with the d-addicts statistics for J-Dorama..(the downloads, uploads, completed, the winner of the series of the month) for this year end 2007.. it would be very interesting facts to know.
fall in love with Jdorama, currently watching Hanayome to Papa, really funny drama..
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
maybe this will be my current recommended best Jdorama I have watched (most satisfied) :
1) Kurosagi (must have special episode.. dying to see it.. what a cool act by Yamapi)
2) One Litre of Tears (a must see, so touching)
3) Dragonzakura (really good message to students, human)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
maybe after finish watching Hanayome to Papa and Proposal Daisakusen my list will be change again... Jdorama are very good (the hidden message of the drama, really well receive and understandble to the audience) can't decide which is the best actually..
Jdorama Jdorama Jdorama Jdorama D-ADDICTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Downloads/uploads - It has been proven time and time again that people download for the sake of downloading, and has no indication on the show's popularity or anything else for that matter. The only thing these numbers indicate is that most D-Addicts downloaders are pack rats - in that they download, store it away, and don't watch it.
2. SotW/SotM/etc. - These numbers indicates shows that leechers want. It doesn't indicate that a show is good/bad/etc. Think about it - these leechers haven't even watched the shows, which is why they're voting for them to be seeded.
My indicators for possible good shows that fit my taste:
1. If I see the English-speaking world raving about it, more likely I'll avoid it.
2. Read the synopses from DramaWiki and the Japanese media.
3. If it contains even one Johnny (exception is Wataru Seken wa Oni Bakari), I'm not going to watch it.
4. NHK. 'nuff said. They're not brainwashed like the other TV networks. Yoshitsune was a once-in-awhile brainfart.

Anyway, as long as Hana Yori Dango do not get the first place. I don't really care.
There are mens who love this drama too.I can vouch for that ^_^"

Re: [Survey] Your Best J-dramas: Ranked! (Update #17)
Sorry for neglecting to update the stats for so long. >_< I've been busy applying for work and school, as well as watching more movies than jdrama. It's actually hard for me to get back into jdrama since I could just watch 6 movies instead. ;)
Anyway, I'll update this in the next couple of days.
Anyway, I'll update this in the next couple of days.
Hm, thanks for bringing this to my attention. I try to double check the scores, but I could've made a mistake after 17 updates. I could use a score checker so if you wanna volunteer, that would be awesome. :) I'll check those scores and fix it for the next update if I made a mistake.Malboro wrote:

Never mind, I just found out I can easily check the scores using Excel, and whoa, Malboro was right!
Hana Dan = 270 (not 272)
1 Litre = 189 (not 236)
Nobuta = 165 (not 179)
Pride = 31 (not 30)
Good Luck = 16 (not 15)
Majo no Jouken = 16 (not 15)
Everything else seems ok. The huge difference for 1 Litre is weird, I wonder if I accidentally deleted a line of numbers during all the copy and pasting? I don't want to re-count it. >_<
So again, I'll fix these scores next update.
