I really like to see how many Europeans we have on this site. Makes me feel a little less weird.
Oh, and I don't find it strange at all to see so few Japanese people on this site. The Japanese-American population is small compared to other Asian-American populations..
I'm more surprised at the low number of Koreans and the high number of 'others'.

Huh, let's see...
By my looks, I'm "African American". Yes, I put that in quotes because one, I'm a cultural mutt, and, two, I deny being African American when taking such tests and put 'Other' because African Americans suck. Original Africans are okay. People from the Caribbeans are okay, but African Americans are stuck up and too into their stereotype. Besides, I have been infected with the Asian Invasion Flu.
But I am: Egyptian, French, Haitian, European mutt, and Native American, and, duh, African :3.

Wooooow! OMG, you're the first other Haitian I've met >_< *instant glompage* It's weird, like, 3/4 of Haitians are European as well.QNSpider wrote:Oh gosh, this is gonna be weird and embarrassing. Hmm. Okay. I'm part Haitian, Swiss, Hispanic (Cuban and Dominican), and part Korean from my father's side.

WTF, you're Haitian? There's always a 1:500,000 chance I'd find a fellow Haitian. You know Haitians are almost always mixed (most of the time with Hispanic). And most Haitians have European in them. Some (rarely) even have Asian in them (Ex: my cousin is part Hmong from her fathers side as well).TatteredCrimson wrote:Wooooow! I am just wondering what "other" might be. Maybe African?
I would consider putting up Carribean and maybe African. Or just black would be fine lol.
i know how you feel. same here..most of the Irish people will think that im Japanese or Chinese although im pure Filipino. and then filipinos here will think that i'm Korean..lols!nivek wrote:I'm an Asian mutt. i'm puerto rican but born in the US.
The Berbers (also called Amazigh people or Imazighen, "free men", singular Amazigh) are an ethnic group indigenous to Northwest Africa and speak various Berber languages.

I don't know. My father side has the native american part but I don't know much about them at all. I haven't seen them for about 10 years or so. I never had to chance to ask but I will next time I see my aunt on my father side. I'll ask my mother. Maybe she knows.ruisu wrote:cherokenyan here. we are an endangered mix. what country/nation are your parents?Tatsuri wrote:African American and Native American.

come to think of it... there are so many ethnic groups to be put up. maybe you should have generalized it instead, to make it easier?
