I just recently starting getting into the dramas. I actually was a lot more into horror for a long time. The 1st drama I watched was My Lovely Kim Sam Soon. I cried so many times watching it. Ha! Anyway that's what got me addicted.

I've actually seen quite a few tokusatsu series (Sentai, Kamen Rider, Sailor Moon), but my first drama I suppose was Hana Kimi.

I'm quite new to this drama scene (like a few days...) so I've just started sampling what's out there.

1 litre of tears! Heartwrenching indeed.. but how I loved it, and of course both Erika Sawajiri and Ryo Nishikido aren't horrible to watch either. Since one litre of tears I've watched Taiyou no Uta, Attention Please, Gokusen, Hana Yori Dango 1 & 2. I'm still very much a newbie at this, but oh well... it's good to have discovered Jdoramas.

[Story] Hnn... The first drama I ever watched was Water Boys, a Japanese drama. It's weird because in NJ, not having satellite, I only get basic IO channels, but I got this random channel, WMBC, and it sometimes shows Asian shows. So three years ago, when the show was actually AIRING in Japan, I stumbled upon it at 7 pm [as a little hormone filled teenaged girl watching boys swim in near to nothing, how could I have denied the show?], didn't understand a single word of it, and I've been hooked to Asian dramas in general ever since. Now I actually speak enough Japanese, and I've seen the drama three times. [/Story]

Ahh this is a toughie I think it was either Funny Girl aka Country Princess or Secret (with Kim Ha Neul) or was it Autumn Tale. TWDrama- Meteor Garden JDrama- NANA(not sure that counts) or Nobuta Wo Produce or Hana Yori Dango #1

I think most ppl who live in the US. proably started with Kdrama's watching. All I have to say if it wasn't for AznTv I would have never started watching them online, for that I'am greatful, because I haven't watched tv in a long time and I heard that they are putting more drama's on frequently, but the internet is so much faster than US television when it comes to AznDrama's.

My first ever Asian drama I watched was on Fuji television (a one hour Japanese program which features news, promotional videos for Japanese artists, "Lets Speak Japanese", and dramas every Friday).

I don't remember the name but I just know that the song used was Misia's "Everything". Great romance drama. Long time ago, I think.

My first Jdorama was Summer Snow.. I thought it was a very touching and sweet dorama that made me immediately addicted to Jdorama after that.

I don't really remember, but I THINK that when I first heard of that there were a live action to Sailor Moon, I looked it up and then I searched for other doramas and so on..

My first drama was Summer Snow. I really liked that drama so much and I thought the acting and the realism of it was so honest and touching.

After that I began looking into JDramas and I started watching a few KDramas as well. (Still prefer JDramas though!) Now I am hooked!!!

Mine was "Attic Cat"... after that it was just hook, line and sinker for k-dramas. I've always had a soft spot for that particular drama and its actors, even when a few better romantic comedies came out after it. :-)

I can't remember what was the first drama I ever watched but I know it had something to do with two snakes, one white and one green, that transformed into two women. Don't know what it was called. anyone know the title of this series?
The first dramas I remember watching on my own are:
First k-drama was Full House, second was Goong.
First tw-drama was Heaven's Wedding Gown, second was Prince Turns Into Frog.
First j-drama was Hana Yori Dango, second Gokusen.

The first Asian drama I ever watched was "Laughing In The Wind" from AZN television. I was so satisfied with this series that I kept wondering if there were anymore like it out there. And that's the kind of obsession that led me straight to D-addicts.
