i've just finished watching this drama yesterday and i think that this drama is great. honestly i say i've cry in mostly every episode. i donno why, but when i think about his mother who was throw him away (before i know the whole story) i will cry. i also feel sad when i heard the open song. so touchy.

but i still like beautiful days more than this drama. donno why

For answering my question. Who wrote "Repose in peace. I'm sorry, i love you" on the tombstone? Eunchae?? His "wife" Moon Ji-young??
I guess it was Moon JiYoung, because she's australian too and I guess she was the only close person to him in Australia,so I guess it was her who asked to have it carved on his grave...
although I still have doubt about that since I'm Sorry I love you were the last words he said to EunChae..

no no no it's definitely his ex-Gf

Thanks a lot!!! I've watched up to episode 3 and currently downloading episode 4...unfortunately, my internet is dial up so its really slow...like 3kb/s or w/e it is... But yes, anyway, so far I haven't shed a tear...I tried my hardest to shed a tear but I think its because I knew what was going to happen next after reading so much about it on the internet.

Still, the drama is soo good. It's much different from what I've been watching. Anyhow...thanks again for the websites I appreciate it :D

i just finished watching this series for my second time. wow. it still made me cry. i think i may have even enjoyed it more the 2nd time. i strongly suggest you all watch it once more... i picked up on A LOT more things this time around, and just certain things had more meaning.

as to the whole being buried in australia thing..
i think it might have been eun-chae. he did tell her once that the sky in australia was much prettier. plus his head-stone said "i'm sorry i love you". and who else but eun-chae would have that written?
something i noticed...
sorry if someone already mentioned this.. but did anyone notice that at the beginning when eun-chae visits her sister at work she recites juliet's death by poison lines (from romeo and juliet) infront of the cameras.. and then dies by drinking poison... the first time i watched it i called it a romeo and juliet ending.. but i never realized how right i was.

i guess, at that time when drama was aired.
the broadcast station didn't send in HDTV yet.
just read the article that HD things in korea are being air late september - october 2004.

if anything wrong, please correct me.

Ooh, I've finally finished watching Im Sorry I Love You after weeks of downloading >.< Although I knew the story's plot and all I must say this movie is GOOD! This drama has taken over my #1 spot and moved Stairway to Heaven to second place. I've got both the Japanese and Korean version of the Snowflower song and I can't stop listening to it lol. =)

And i guess the man who gave the twins for adoption was punished at the end as well, by god taking away his daughter.. ahhh what comes around goes around!! I would love to see a sequel!!

OMG!!! :w00t: guess what i just saw? i was browsing a video shop for some other recommended drama but i found.... the DVD set of MISA, a collectible version! the packaging is so so nice i couldnt let it off my hands. it's a 20 episode long version. i've been contemplating to get a version with chinese subtitles to watch it again. oh no... should i buy it?it's not cheap. and considering that i've already watched it once. it'll be so luxurious.....

my 2 cents about the why the ending...
about why EC chose to die in the end even when she told MH she's happily live on, here's what i think:
Remember she almost gone mad when she left MH to be with CY? I guess she'd definitely gone insane, or maybe even worse than what she experienced before. So her character is really not so strong. And her love for him is really intense.
Even in melborne she kept seeing the images of MH and herself and all the good memories they had then. So that's why she chose to be "with him" in that happy and carefree place.
Well i also found it a bit wierd that after taking his heart, his body was sent back to australia where he was so lonely. Is there really such law that a citizen has to be buried in his own country?
What is written on the tomb stone is what MH is saying to belived EC right? instead of normal practice of what alive person saying to the dead person?

about whether audrey should know the truth:
I prefer that it stays this way, that she did not know the truth and hope she'd never find out. if she knows, i can't imagine how much pain it'd be for her. perhaps she'd be in grief and regret for entire life. that she did not know her beloved, most missed, son was right in front of her. she'd regret that she'd not cherished her son while he's alive. without knowing the truth she could live happily getting a son back from verge of death. it may be a bit unfair for the sister SK. but audrey already grew to like her and got even attached to her. from the scene where SK and her boy enjoying CYs performance together with the others, they appeared to be like one family to me.

I hate the ending that if one of them died for whatever reason, and the girl/boy suffers and die with his/her love to not let he/her alone. ----> That's STUPID. One thing I hate the most about korean drama that's many accidents, diseases happen to them and they suffer in love with each other.

Talking about dying or sad, should watch "1 Litre of Tears" (the japanese drama based on true story).

ONLY WATCH THIS IF YOU HAVE TIME

hi csk, i share your sentiments. i love this drama but cant really explain its. i feel hard to describe to others what so good abt it. maybe it's the appeal of the characters?

i just extras which come with the director's cut box set and feel like watching the series all over again!

i'm not sure if you know this... but that's an old irish (? or at least celtic) folk song. it's simply called Maggie. My irish grandpa used to sing it all the time..

there's tons of people who sing the song but i don't think any pop star or rock star does.

---
on another note i was wondering if anyone knew the song that i think is the one they play during the opening credits. (i just lent my copy of the show to someone so i can't double check). but it's that song with the melodic la-la-la... etc, i don't think there were any real words in the song.

Well, I am 3 episodes from the finish and loving the drama :D . Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone knows what the song is in Episode 1 (I think it's in another one as well, I can't remember) when Eun-Chae is wandering aimlessly around Melbourne after being mugged(?). The one with the repitition of "Tell me all about it..."

<3 the drama though. Quite sad

PS. I must add that I've given the thread quite a bump :lol

woops, I spelled "wandering" wondering :P

A friend told me this drama was his favorite, along with "Love Story in Harvard." So I went and watched "I'm Sorry, I Love You." So far, I'm on episode 07, and I really like it, but it's twistd like crazy... the story. hehe, so it's cool.
