[Question] Missing latest posts and most popular topics

What happened to the latest posts and most popular topics listed on the main page?

Maybe it's the same thing as sometimes the Search-function going missing. Taking too much room on the server?

I don't think that's the case, the lastest/popular posts haven't been on the main page in about 15 hours. I'm thinking that maybe it could be an update of phpBB forum.

I have disabled the "Top Ten Topics" extension. It seems that this extension was putting too much stress to our database and was the cause for the many technical problems (i.e. database crashes) in the past.

You can use the "New posts" and "Active topics" functions in the "Quick links" menu to find the latest posts.

I just wanted to request this but i found it here. isn't there any fix for this problem?
