How to Seed from new folder?

Post by whoelse_i » Apr 21st, '13, 11:40

Can somebody here help me step by step

I want to seed all my finished download.
But the problem is, I already moved the files/videos to another folder from the original downloaded folder (doing some housekeeping) and I will get "Error: Files missing from job. Please recheck" when I try to seed.

How can I seed from the new folder that I had saved all the downloaded files? I'm using utorrent.

If you did not remove the torrent from the torrent list in uTorrent then right-click on it and select Advanced -> "Set download location" . According to this post on the uTorrent forums, you now need to select Yes when it asks to overwrite files in versions 3.3.x.

Warning: I have not used uTorrent in a while and I cannot guarantee this will work without problems. You should test it first to prevent any loss of files.
