It doesn't really explain it well though. It's really about how kids from the city fit in to a country town when they attend the Rural Study Program. It's really good :) xploring and I are doing subs for it - from bad Engrish subs ripped from a Chinese bootleg DVD.
Oh ok, I've never seen that drama before... I always watch old dramas though.
There's no subs for that drama?!?

I thought you wouldn't need subs? It would be good if you can correct/improve it ;) , but if not, then enjoy the series.

I was originally from Hong Kong, but have been here for more than 18 years.

Well, you wouldn't have to do anything. I'm just being a good d-addict. :)

Unless you are able to translate a few lines of Japanese for me? I'm kinda stuck on something in Top Sales (doing the same thing for that series, doing subs from bad Engrish subs). I have the lines in Kanji and I can't work it out :( and online translators are no help.

Really? That would be sooooo good! :D

What kind of things do you want me to translate? I can try, but not sure?
Kanji as in Chinese kanji? Cos if that is then I can't read it, cos Chinese and Japanese kanji is different....

1.5kg is a lot heavier than 12 DVDs. I think the charges are calculated according to the weight of the package.

Yep summer in Japan is pretty hot and humid! But so many people has air conditioner in their place so it doesn't matter much!

The worst time to go to Japan is hmm, between June-August I think.

Traders usually send DVD's in paper sleeves, not in DVD or CD cases. They just make the postage cost much higher :)

Atsu-hime is a taiga - I guess you know what that is? The NHK historical drama that runs for 12 months?

I really like it, but others don't. I've heard it called Lizzie McGuire-hime... but that was early on in the series :)

It's not easy :) You should try watching an asadora like Churasan. 150 x 15-minute eps... = 39 DVD's :)

LOL ~!! :lol

Do you always finish watching the dram till the last episode or have you ever gave up watching it before?

Don't you watch any tv? Like other US dramas? Or news?
No offense, but I don't really like to watch Aust drama and UK..... I don't find them interesting.

I watch some TV, but not much. I don't really like a lot of what's on, except some of the movies. Besides, I have to share the TV's with 4 others...

I try and watch all eps of a drama unless I find that it's boring or annoying. Although I started watching Mukudono once but stopped because I didn't have all the eps. The closest i've come to quitting halfway was Erai Tokoro ni Totsuide Shimatta, and only having Nakama Yukie in it saved it :)

That isn't really that much when you think about it.. That would equate to less than 40 x 1hr eps..
East Of Eden is already longer than that.. God that's long.. I'm currently taking a break for a few weeks from it lol

>>>Saki: I hate most Aussie and UK dramas!! They're just so.. Bad ;><
There are a few good shows comign out of the US.. But I haven't seriously sat down and watched TV for a good 6 or 7 years.. I might occasionally watch whatever's on when I'm eating dinner.. But yeah.. Jap dramas are all I need :)

Yeah, true. But it's still long compared to 8-11 eps of a typical Renzoku :)

Just so you know, using the term "Jap" is considered derogatory. I'd rather you don't use it.
