If it's so idiotic to not know something as obvious as that, then why did you even bring it up at all?
Please don't spam or provoke others in this thread. Thank you.
I apologize for the idiot remark. However, I don't think that I was spamming at all. He made a comment, I simply corrected his mistake. If he really didn't know that twins don't have to be identical then I'll apologize for everything else. He didn't have to reply to my comment with something unnecessary like that.

^ thanks himitsu124! i looked at your blog and saw the screencaps!!!!! i am so shocked right now! hahaha.
THEORY TIME (since i just watched ep. 5)
I think that Mei's real mother is the childhood friend of A-kun's mother.... the one that committed suicide and because of this, a-kun's mom couldnt handle it, so she relied on drugs.
so i can confirm that they aint twins?! haha
SO NO WORRIES PEOPLE! THEY AINT TWINS
ahhhh ep. 5 was a really sad episode... its hard for me to see junpei so... sad! hes already having a hard time with his mother, and then he has a decision to make about mei... and his childhood friend made it worse! (i think haha)
I feel really bad for Mei too. lol.
seriously, i felt like crying after watching this episode... it only gets sadder and sadder...
no matter what, i still love this drama!

I don't think so.I think Taka-chan is kind of violent. I remember seeing a preview where he pushes Mei really hard until she falls down.
It's funny how everyone always takes javinian's posts so seriously. =P I think he was only sorta joking.
But anyway, episode 6 is out earlier than usual =D I'm downloading it now~ 7 more minutes to finish my download! woo!
EDIT:
wow.. this episode made me cry.. the part where Atsushi tells Mei's mom about how him and Mei found out about eachother's bdays and how they really think they're fated for eachother.. and then he tells Mei's mom that he loves her but he'll break-up with her. =(
And the part where Atsushi visits Mei the next day and pretends to hate her.. ;__;
I've also lost some respect for Takachan after he said "If he could break-up with you that easily then he didn't really love you to begin with" ughhhhh =.=
This coming episodes will be the climax of the whole series.. I already recommended this series to some of my friends and they're excited to download the series when the series is completed. Anyway, The story is too different in koizora but the similarities is that both are teenage dramas and they depict some realities of the life of a teenager.
The story becomes more tense when they move to a high school.
I used to wonder why the four main casts are mei, atsushi, taka and especially mia, and I got it after watching a movie trailer and a preview of episode 7. I'm really looking forward to the next episode. I hope that taka is not such violent like he seems to be.
just read the the mobile novel version of akai ito and I can say that the drama is very different from the novel. I prefer the drama which focus more on the romance part. The novel is very much on the growing up story of Mei and is very x-rated and dark that will certainly stun those who like the drama.
Major difference:
- The incident where Atsushi and Mei met outside cake shop when they are children is not in the novel.
- Atsushi is a playboy in novel, hardly the quiet, cool guy in the drama. Very little is mentioned about his family. Atsushi still take drug at high school in the novel
- Mei has dyed hair and tattoo (related to Taka), smoke a lot and has multiple sex partners in the novel. I can hardly recognize the innocent Mei in the novel. The fall of May started when she lost Yuya to her sister at the beginning.
- All Mei's friends are toned down in the drama. Taka seems to retain his over-jealous, abusive personality at the end of drama.
- The blonde girl who chase Sara and pour water at Mei's friend in the 2nd or 3rd episode set up Mei and gang-rape her in the novel. I doubt we will see this in the drama.
- The leaving of Sara is very abrupt in the drama. I like the novel better where memory-lost Sara went through her diary with Mei before she left. It explained some of the things and relieve Mei from any guilt. I think the drama may leave the diary part at the end.
Well that's very interesting. ^^
Is there a english version of the novel? =X
I'm glad to hear that A-kun and Mei are not
twins
Cause I thought about that too after I watched ep5 yesterday.
I have a feeling that I'm gonna cry in the next few episodes. x]
I wonder hows it gonna end. [happy ending?]
Can't wait! ><;

Wow. That sounds very, very, very different indeed!!!
Thanks for those informations Yuji.

OMG!!! that's a lot of differences!
From this, I think I prefer the drama more. The main characters have better personalities.
Thank you so much for sharing! This is indeed very informative!
Thank you for the preview. Although I wish I didn't watch it because now I'm going to be anxiously awaiting it and that's a week away! It looks like episode 8 is going to finish off what was showed in the movie. Definitely looks intense.
Mami.... manipulative *****
Taka.... I won't call him Taka-CHAN anymore reminds me of one of my ex-boyfriends, haha, nevermore
Mei, we all know you suffer from a broken heart, but can you break up with him right away and not wait till the next episode for him to get more violent, pretty please?
maybe.... just my imagination though... maybe he hurt himself, because A-kun came back and gloriously saved Mei? And we all know whom she would prefer any time. Don't-leave-me-or-else-I-commit-suicide kinda thing? He seems like that type
From ep 8 preview, I think one who got an accident is Taka-chan.
Pretty sad and shocked for me if what I guess from the last scene of the preview is true. (The scene in the hospital and another one that Mei is listening to her mobile phone.)
I just found the episode 9 extended preview.. here's a quick summary of what's in it:
-Mami says she can't live without A-kun..
-The Atsushi stabbing Murakoshi scene we've all seen in the movie trailers
-Atsushi and Mei hugging (I'm assuming they're back together =P)
-Mei saying "From now on, what'll happen to both of us"
and the most confusing shocking part..
- Atsushi discovers someone (I think they're probably already dead) with a bloody wrist and with the pills and a bloody pair of scissors on the table.
My guess is that it's most likely Mami but it's weird because they have Mei's voice saying "A-kun.. bye bye" during the scene. ahhh, so confusing..
Does anyone know how many episodes there are going to be? I heard 10, but also that the drama will air until the 28th which would make it 11, unless there's a break. Then, I also heard there's a possibility of 12. So I was just wondering if there's been any confirmation.
Taka-chan dead?! I knew something bad to him was going to happen, maybe an injury or so, but .. death. Seems they're getting rid of the characters one by one. Although many people might hate him, I don't know why I sympathize with him. There's a reason for his behavior, I guess he's possessive.
I think the Mia-taking-drugs issue was quick & rushed, at least they could've presented that happening after Taka's death, oh well.
If it is Mami with slit wrists, why would she act that way? I mean A-kun didn't seem to totally dump her for her to attempt suicide, not that they were really dating in the first place. But if we consider her deep affection for him, and her disappointment because of Mei & A-kun together, that might be the case.

Wth! Why the heck did Taka-chan slap Mei?! I found it really unreasonable. He's WAY over-protective of Mei. Mei must be pretty confused. rawrs. I wish Taka-chan wasn't so violent too. :[ I'm not quite sure what he meant when Taka said "Why won't you let me believe you" Is he blaming Mei that he can't trust her? o_O; well anyway, Taka has a good heart, he can't deal with his feelings very well.. and Junpei to the rescue~! A-kun saves Mei?! and why do people have to die in this drama! ><; Don't go Taka~! you can change

Kyaaa~ Can't wait for the next episode~
I don't understand how Mei agreed to go out with him in the first place. It doesn't make sense that just because A-kun left that she chooses Taka (I don't buy the "You've always been there for me" excuse, that's just dumb, he was so in the friends zone). It makes it look like Mei only rejected Taka before because of Sara and A-kun, but otherwise she would have chosen him. I felt no chemistry between these two characters, so its just weird to me.
As far as the slapping is concerned, look he's been in love with Mei for a long time and he got rejected. Then she somehow agreed to go out with him. Taka became super possessive of her because he most likely thought if he was second choice then she could dump him for any other guy and also A-kun has returned to town which he probably thinks Mei will just run back to him. You can see from this point of view he is extremely possessive and insecure about Mei's feelings. When Mei said "Let's spend a little less time together and make our own friends" he thought this was Mei's way of saying lets take a break and see other people so he slapped her.
Too damn long.. hahaha In summary Taka is the way he is because he's insanely obsessed with Mei now that he finally has her and doesn't want to bear losing her.
I bet A-kun is going to come to the rescue soon or Mei's going to run crying to him after Taka beats her up a little more then good things will happen (or not?)
As you can tell by that huge post, I love this drama!
Finished watching Episode 7. Just a quick comment about the acting-- Kimura Ryo's acting in the role of Taka-chan is a standout in this drama. I didn't think I'd actually change my mind about him as an actor. This guy's not just a pretty face. He's come a long way from playing that rich brat in Waterboys 2.

Mei probably felt lonely and needed someone. and she got her heartbroken and needed to move on?... Maybe the movie has more Mei and Taka moments. I do agree with you that there was no chemistry there.
That's probably true about Taka's feelings about Mei. I think Mei used the wrong words about the make new friends thing. She could've just said she wanted to make new friends. I don't think it was necessary to say "Let's spend a little less time together." I understand that hurts, but I still don't think Mei should have gotten slapped. I guess that proves Mei doesn't really like Taka-chan as much as A-kun.
I feel a little bad for Taka. Cause I think we, as the audience, know that Mei will go back to A-kun. [it's definitely destiny. ]
haha. I like those prediction ^^. Either way Mei and A-kun are gonna be together. >:] If not, then I think I'm gonna cry. .
I hope good things happen. and Taka doesn't die.. but it seems so in the preview. T____T;;
