Hi,
I normally do not ask for this however, I need to find a high quality version (DVD Rip if possible, subtitles not necessary) of KoiZora.
I don't support piracy and in fact I actually own "KoiZora" (see photo below) however, I'm having problem playing the DVD (odd, cause I can play other region 2 DVD's, so I'm guessing this one came with an error).
Thank You, appreciate it.

well because of her outfit. We usually see her in a school girl uniform or civilian clothing but when she wore the scrub suit she seemed different but still kawaii~Arsenal1508 wrote:She looks so much different in Code Blue compared to her other dramas. Maybe the hair?
Either way, she's so damn pretty. I hope she does more dramas soon.

MatsuJun, Gakky pair up for "Smile"
Thu, February 12, 2009 (1:53am EST)
Jun Matsumoto and Yui Aragaki will co-star in a new TBS drama series titled "Smile." Takayuki Takuma ("Hana Yori Dango") is handling the script, though he is using his real name rather than his usual pen name of Mikio Satake.
Matsumoto plays a half-Filipino whose father has died and mother has disappeared. Despite his misfortune and the issues he deals with, such as race, he lives his life positively with a constant smile.
Similarly, Aragaki plays a young woman living cheerfully despite losing her ability to speak due to an accident. Her character is said to be modeled after a real actress in the theatrical troupe that Takuma runs.
The supporting cast includes Kiichi Nakai as a lawyer who watches over Matsumoto and Aragaki.
"Smile" will air on Friday nights at 10:00pm, starting in April.
Gakky works with Ghibli for new single
Fri, February 13, 2009 (2:06am EST)
Actress Yui Aragaki is collaborating with Studio Ghibli for her upcoming single, "piece." Ghibli's Yoshiyuki Momose directed the title song's music video, as well as contributing art for the CD jacket.
The collaboration came about after Aragaki served as the guide of an NHK music program last May that focused on Disney and Ghibli songs. An offer to produce the music video was given in November, and Momose agreed after hearing the song. Momose's previous work includes "Ghiblies Episode 2" and music videos for artists such as capsule.
In addition to the animated music video, a second live-action video is also being made. Likewise, the CD jacket will come in three flavors - one illustrated by Aragaki, one illustrated by Momose, and one featuring a photo of Aragaki's face.
"piece" goes on sale February 25.

Wow... for like 2 years people totally forgot about Gakky. LOL.
So since then I have been on a mission to watch every single Gakky J-movie and J-drama.
So far I've only watched
J-dramas:
Sh15uya (2005): My fav Gakky J-drama... she is so awesome in this one. This J-drama is EPIC IMO.
My Boss My Hero (2006): She was really cute in this one; plus this show was funny as heck.
Papa to Musume no Nanokakan (2007): This one was hilarious IMO... Gakky shows some great comedic range, but the dad steals the show.
Smile (2009): Gakky cannot talk in this one, so she pretty much has to use exaggerated facial expressions and pantamime her emotions to communicate... and man... she is epic cute when she does this. Plus, great ending.
J-movies:
Waruboro (2007): Shota Matsuda acts so dumb in this movie it was almost impossible to watch... but Gakky was in it so I endured. LOL.
Koisuru Madori (2007): Meh... kinda boring... like nothing happened to Gakky's character.
Fure Fure Girl (2008): I loved this movie... seeing nerdy unglamorous Gakky was a nice change of pace; Gakky's best acting performance IMO.
Ballad Namonaki Koi no Uta (2009): I love time travel movies and this one was really great. Clean, family friendly old fashioned movie... good stuff.
I am gonna watch Dragon Zakura and Hanamizuki next, then maybe Code Blue franchise after that and then all of her earlier stuff that probably only have Chinese subbed versions. LOL. I am saving Koizora for last since that one is epic sad and I cannot handle epic sad J-drama. LOL.
Yup. After watching My Boss My Hero... I declared undying eternal (meaning at least six months, lol) J-loyalty to Yui Aragaki. LOL.tikotaker wrote:hello

Aragaki Yui to star in “Ranma 1/2″ live-action special
The classic manga “Ranma 1/2” is being turned into a live-action drama special this December, starring actress Aragaki Yui (23). The drama will be an original story with Tendo Akane as the main character. The part of Saotome Ranma will be played by actor Kaku Kento (22) and Natsuna (22).
Originally written by Takahashi Rumiko and published by Shogakukan between 1987 and 1996, the manga has had more than 53 million copies printed. The comic has also been adapted as an anime series and has spawned several video games.
In the drama special, Aragaki plays Akane, who is determined to protect the longevity of the Tendo dojo. However, one day her father Soun suddenly declares that the dojo’s successor must be male. This rules out Akane’s intended partner Ranma, who suffers from a curse that turns him into a girl whenever he is splashed with cold water. In order to remove the curse and inherit the dojo, Ranma seeks out a secret hot spring, but he encounters a mysterious enemy.
The announced cast also features Hasegawa Kyoko as Tendo Kasumi, Tanihara Shosuke as Ono Tofu, Furuta Arata as Saotome Genma, and Namase Katsuhisa as Tendo Soun. The casting for the other characters has not yet been revealed.
NTV will broadcast the 2-hour drama sometime in December.

Ooo... thanks for the heads up! I was wondering what J-drama she was doing next after her two recent movie specials. Kinda sucks she plays a serious-type lawyer again... and that her co-star is not that good looking IMO (lol)... but Yui Aragaki with her new short hairdo more than makes up for it.darkw1zard wrote:New Drama again, this time as a lawyer

Re: Aragaki Yui
She looked pretty in Dragon Zakura and My Boss My Hero, but in Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu, the older version of her with short hair doesn't look as good.

First saw recognize her in Legal High. Became a fan after that.
(Thank God for subtitles! I barely understand Japanese.)
I rarely watch jdrama during my high school and college year (hell years) due to time constraint and internet speed sucked at that time.
I slowly build up my collection...I started with her Album, mag and photobook (Aside from Gunpla Collecting)

Come to think of it. Yui had several hairstyles over the years.
This one is ok to me. (2/5)
Shoulder-length hair is not bad also (4/5)
This short hair version looks good to me (4/5)
This long hair is ok but... (2/5)
Long hair too but I find it attractive. (4/5)
This not so short hair is a-ok (5/5)
The full bangs short hair....she looks younger here (4/5)
I wish this is a messy high bun lit..on fire (5/5)
I don't know...I prefer her shoulder length, short hair (but not like in nigeru drama) and one side sway bangs messy high bun (sorry I don't know what is called)

I only saw short clips. (Code Blue S3 Guesting, CB vs Arashi, Food Trip). It'd be cool if there's site that upload Jp Talk Show. (If there's a jap sub....much better, I'll understand it more)
