i am soo close! help!

Post by alzaimh90 » Aug 27th, '08, 05:36

hello! i am new of course
i have always been afraid of resorting to downloading and all this, but i am left with no choice

so i read all the instructions, looked at diagrams, flipped through every FAQ

here's what i did
went to the "Who Are You?" page, downloaded the .srt file, which is apparently the "softsub"
i downloaded the .avi file, from MU, but it keeps telling me the file is nonexistent!!!!

i downloaded and installed all the codecs and players, and everything

could you tell me where i went wrong? thank you sooooo much

Also make sure that the srt file is excally the same name as the avi. The sytex must be the same.

I fell into this trap myself.

wow thanks for your help!

well i actually got the link from soompi

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Y3E1RB5F

i am pretty sure it was .avi
well not really
this is what it says
Who.Are.You.E01.KOR.080305.HDTV.X264-SHiNHWA.avi

it loaded for maybe forty minutes and then said it must stop since it cannot find the file or something

thanks so much!

btw is there any specific place to get/download the ".avi" files from?
thanks

if the video file just stops/crashes/freezes.. it maybe due to your download being incomplete, check to make sure your file sizes match with the ones from the site.. alternatives are to have torrent, hash, sfv files check if the file is actually complete and not corrupted.

hmm... megaupload?

did you download a part of the file? sometimes they upload the avi in parts to make smaller downloads, ie. sample.avi.part1, sample.avi.part2, sample.avi.rar, etc.

when you have downloaded all parts you'll have to compile them to gether to make the avi file, usually done with winrar

how big is the file that you downloaded? usually drama's that are uploaded range from 350MB - 700MB...

hope that helps you.
