Burned DVD... Picture is fine, but no sound

Post by Merewen » Jul 10th, '11, 04:34

Hi. I burned an episode to DVD to watch on the big screen. Everything worked fine on my computer in WMP and VLC, but when I put it in the DVD player there was no sound. AT ALL. I'm not sure what I did wrong. I used Virtualdub to encode the subtitles and Windows DVD Maker to burn the DVD. The menu screen of the DVD had sound but the actual show didn't. Help?

P.S. I'm sorry if this question has already been asked, but I couldn't find it.

Hi Merewen theres a software called ConvertX to DvD. Try that software. Sound should work when you burn with this soft. This also support subtitles. so you don't need to harcode them using virtualdub. When you play it in DvD player you can turn on & off the subs.
