Make it Dae Jang Geum. It's educationall, entertaining, enriching, and distinctly Korean. Definitely worth watching.

So basically, you're doing a presentation on the popularity of south Korean media in the global market or something along those lines. ??? Or anything about Korea
Let me do your presentation for you
Since early 2000, there has been a major trend of Korean culture saturating the Asian entertainment market.
The trend was been coined "Korean Wave" by a Beijing journalist and is also known as "hallyu."
The start of exporting Korean dramas was a key element of the Korean wave. Winter Sonata was one of those first dramas exported to neighboring countries such as Japan and China that helped popularized Korean media for the global market. Bae Yong Joon the male lead in winter Sonata is now charging $ 5 million a film, the highest in Asia.
Dramas such as Goong have dominant not only the korean market, but have even made it's way to southeast Aisa. It's very popular in Thailand and the song "dang shin eun...na neun ba bo ib ni da" sung by Stay in the ost was remade by a very popular thai band, Clash. Looking at youtube, veoh, and many streaming sites, korean drama and media dominates in terms of asian media.
Okay, I started your representation, you owe me...just kidding. I was kinda bored.
Note:
An important dramas to look at: WINTER SONATA, I hate this drama, but it did help the Korean wave.
Very popular Korean drama
Money Warfare/ War of Money- when it aired earlier this year, it received +30% in ratings. Though it was ust a drama, money warfare hit a soft spot for Korean society. Private loans and debt is a huge social problem in South Korea.
My name is Kim Sam Soon- a Bridget Jone's type of story, also a major hit.
Coffee Prince- just ended was also a major hit.
Someone also mentioned Dae Jang Geum, it also helped in the Korean wave.
Learn to spell and stay in school..hahha. sorry, that was kind of mean.
