I definitely neglected this gem last few days. Thanks, Viande^^
Yea, I read those comments too. They kinda don't get that Simon and Martina are just stating their opinion about Shinhwa.Viande wrote:There is unbelievable amount of crying going on about Simon's & Martina's video about Shinhwa's comeback. It's really ridiculous how these teenagers (according to their ages stated there) are going rampart when people don't like their "legends"/"kpop gods"/whatever. Everyone must worship the legends of k-pop and dissing them is blasphemy.I'm sorry Shinhwa teen fans but saying something is not that special is not same as bashing them. And their comeback wasn't that amazing unless you happen to be a Shinhwa fan or some brainless teenager who needs to boost their ego by praising old groups just because they're old. I really hate "but they're legends" argument (as much as "indie music is always better and mainstream is crap").
I thought the comeback album was alright but nothing godly that none of the new groups couldn't do. And I did try Shinhwa when I started listening k-pop but they weren't my cup of tea then.
Yes, especially when we can even insult our most loved ones (Jong, he got verbally abused by me so many times already).Viande wrote:

Yes, indeed, it's completely true.Ethlenn wrote:Yes, especially when we can even insult our most loved ones (Jong, he got verbally abused by me so many times already).Viande wrote:

I stopped going on lj communities and AKP or other teens filled fora. They make my blood boil, but I don't want to die from stress and stroke yet. Here, on D-A, we rarely agree but we don't take things personally. I hope.
WHAT THE F... IS THAT? The guy(I suppose) has really wasted his time making this. It makes... no sense at all. Just nonrhythmic random sounds, kinda like last few SuJu's songs, really.Ethlenn wrote:ULTIMATE K-POP SONG

I really don't like that song(not saying anything about the guy). But I don't like mashups in general.Viande wrote:What, you don't like DJ Masa?!? He's awesome, I love his mashups! I thought that was funny one.![]()
Also, I don't know how I have managed to not see this before but damn I died of laughter thanks to this one:
왜, 샤이보이? (Why, Shy Boy?) TVXQ vs. Secret mashup
Jeez, thanks a lot... I keep playing this one all day. I love Masa's imagination.Viande wrote: 왜, 샤이보이? (Why, Shy Boy?) TVXQ vs. Secret mashup
I have never understood how one can rape a guy. Maybe a 10 year old but not like 20 year old like X-5.Viande wrote:Open World Entertainment CEO arrested for alleged sexual harassment on artists and trainees
Somehow this doesn't surprise me at all. I doubt this is the only case. It's disgusting how people use their power to sexually harass young girls and boys.
Nothing different to raping 20-yo girl. You really are young and apparently sometimes make such under-thought statements...Neliets wrote: I have never understood how one can rape a guy. Maybe a 10 year old but not like 20 year old like X-5.
That's what it probably looks like from woman's point of view. And the rubbing I noticed just now, when I paid attention to that, because I didn't notice any rubbing before. I get exactly the same feeling when I see guy groups doing cute stuff. I get literally feel like hitting them with a hammer. I find guys acting cute very disgusting and disturbing.Viande wrote:To me Sistar's "choreographies" look all same; they just rub their legs, touch their butt and look "sexy". I see no difference to 4min, except 4min likes to suck their fingers in additon... I find it really pity that girl groups who have good singers have to over-use sex appeal to get attention. I don't feel like watching girl groups rubbing themselves on stage. It's ok if choreo has some sexy moves but all of it and in all performances? No. I would probably be more into girl groups if they actually danced and not just looked cute or sexy.
But I do like the song. It's the only song I've liked from them so far.
Anyway, U-Kiss came back and this time I'm voting like crazy for them. They are the second underrated group after INFINITE. They're great dancers, have great songs and a few great vocalists and still, they have not won a single music program yet.And again they have bad luck with other really popular groups coming back at the same time. I heard Tatiseo, the new SNSD sub group, debuts next week so there goes U-Kiss' chances again. They have only this week time to win one or they get nothing, again...
At first I didn't really feel the song, it sounded a bit awkward. But after listening it a few times, it's actually great and it has some funky twists. Not as great as Tick Tock was but defiently a good song and I like the MV.

Neliets, you offended Viande, offended me and tons of other women who can say that this-and-this group is slutty. Only because Viande's point of view differs from yours doesn't justify belittling her and stating something like that. So, we are stupider than holy thou because we don't agree?Neliets wrote:But it's not a discussion worth starting with a woman.
I apologize if you feel offended, I didn't mean to belittle you but what I mean is that women see women differently than men. Just like I mentioned before - I literally hate guys acting cute but women seem to dig that. That's an example.Ethlenn wrote:Neliets, you offended Viande, offended me and tons of other women who can say that this-and-this group is slutty. You don't have monopoly to truth, you know.
Now, you've just woken up the kraken...
And Viande is right about Infinite and Ukiss being underrated. Awards and mutizens mean nothing if you are not taken into the consideration of those 'professional polls'. Both groups are still far from it. Fabulous voices of Sunggyu and Woohyun are not included in any rankings, Hoya and Dongwoo are not included in dancers/rappers polls.
This is what matters, awards are just matter of fans, not professionals.
You don't need to be a man to judge girl groups. And over-use of sex appeal is as awkward for both female and male groups. But the difference is, that male groups don't usually run half naked on the stage rubbing themselves. Now that would be disturbing.Neliets wrote:And difference between 4minute and Sistar(this song) is that Sistar has kinda 'classic sexy' image but 4minute(and like billion other girl groups) mostly has like 'half-naked-slut' image. But it's not a discussion worth starting with a woman.
They were. Last year was their first year when they got their first awards. Their popularity is rising but they're still not very popular, even though they are well balanced and stabile group.Neliets wrote:Correction there - Infinite is not underrated. They have their share of mutizens and fans.
U-Kiss is VERY underrated. Why? They debuted at the same year as SHINee (not many know that) and have still not managed to win any of the music programs, and only awards they have got are from 2010. And music program wins are mostly about who has more fans.Neliets wrote:And U-kiss isn't underrated either. They are very well known, they have their fan-base(which is quite big, actually) but they just haven't made such a hit to get a mutizen. And U-kiss has actually won few awards. Can't remember when or what but I remember that they did.
Forgetting SHINee when talking about dancing skill ranking is unforgivable. (and will lead to executionNeliets wrote:But about dancing, I have to agree - they actually would be #2 Dancers in kpop now. Infinite is #1, of course. There is no doubt.
I am not a fan of SNSD either. And I don't like the song, too, but I was just saying that it came out a bit more sophisticated than I thought it would.Viande wrote:I didn't like TaeTiSeo's Twinkle at all. It sounds really familiar but can't pinpoint where I have heard something similiar before. Maybe some old American song / music style? Anyway, I really dislike this kind of music so I'm not a good person to evaluate it. Not to mention I'm not a fan of SNSD.
O---key...Music Bank Orders Singers to Prerecord Live Music
Due to the ongoing strike, it has been confirmed that KBS’s Music Bank has been ordering the performing singers to prerecord their music to sound like a live performance.
An anonymous source affiliated with the music industry met with enews and revealed, “We received an order from the staff at Music Bank to record our music to be like a live performance.”
He further explained that the Music Bank staff was taking precautions, in case the audio team and other staff members are affected by the on-going strike.
From a glance, it may seem like a safety measure, but in the order to make artists prerecord their music to sound live, there is a small intention to trick the viewers. In the case that it becomes hard to operate normally due to the strike, the program is planning to trick the audience into thinking that it is a live broadcast.
It plans on playing the live broadcast-like AR (All Recorded, including the artists’ voices as well as the rest of the music) with the MR (Music Recorded, featuring just the instrumentals), to create a makeshift of a live broadcast.
In other words, it is an action that deceives viewers. Of course, other music related employees state, “Depending on the situation, the broadcast will run as usual without the special AR.”
Even so, due to the fact that the broadcast staff asked the singers for this kind of errand, it is hard to hide the bitterness.

Sorry, but, actually, in body-building field, Asians are just as good and has just as much potential. I have even read that it's even easier for Asians to do(they have faster metabolism but that's not the only reason) than us. It's just what they want to achieve. Most idols are just seeking for abs and that's all, and that is an easy job to do. Yes, they are more limited(usually) to the weight(muscle) and strength but as far as looks go - they beat us.Ethlenn wrote:Comparing asian body type to caucassian one is as wise as comparing dragon to the hen. Both have wings, and that's all.
