Help Me Name a Japanese Restaurant in NYC...

Post by chiggazred » Jan 26th, '08, 01:35

Doesn't really need to relate to a Restaurant
I thought of "Hanabi"
My friend like "Ki Taku"

hehe just throw me some random name and tell me what it means... it mainly has to sound good hehe

Mabui = some Yanki slang... for like "stunning" and other accolades of the sort... ie 俺のスケはマブイぜ

Cafe 番長 ... I just like "Banchou" ... it's pretty much like saying "Boss, Top Dog"

Tamabukuro ... I guess I'll leave it at that.

pottapottayaki...

Anyhows, I suck at coming up with random names.. it's easier to work with a theme, I guess...

Uhn... welcome to the boards.

What's the motif or theme of the resto? :D With a motif, we'd know at least how to narrow down the names...

But, right now, some neutral names coming to mind are:

Eien - Eternity (meaning is nice, but eien sounds too similar to alien XD )
Hima - break time
Kisetsu - seasons
Hidamari - sunny spot

The theme is just a typical Japanese restaurant, Japanese Decor with one Hibachi cook...

Location is Astoria NYC if that helps...

So far i like "Midori" sounds good and probably easy for white people to say it... lol :P
