Stream Japanese TV on your computer with KeyHoleTV
I had to bite the bullet and pay for a month @ http://www.ntktv.com
It ended up being a little over $60.00. But it works just like before.

I'm not a java expert, but I believe you need to edit this part:sbm888 wrote:are there any mac/OS versions for NTKTV or Keyhole?
thanks in advance.
localObject = new String[] { "cmd.exe", "/c", "start", "wmplayer", localObject };
in the o.class file under zParki so that it opens a relevant player in OS X (like vlc).
hope this helps!

You need to make sure you have Java installed. Once you've done that, double click and it'll load up. You don't install NTKTV, you just run it in conjunction with Java and WMP.seiret wrote:It seems I can't install NKTV. Whenever I download the software on their website, I get a jnlp file instead of exe. Can anybody help me, please?

This is a massive thread, i figured it out after a while, too bad it isnt all live TV.mikao wrote:Mingo3k wrote: For some reason when i open each of these, for example, under the Kanto folder, on TV TOKYO, once open in Java, all i get is 2ch NHK and nothing else shows.

JPTV24 turned off their service for the Kansai channels, CS channels, Tokyo MX, Star Channel and WOWOW so those channels are probably not coming back, since NTKTV is basically a recording of JPTV24 streams. No idea why BS channels also stopped updating, but since they don't update files on their server I can't do anything about it.

Hi all!
I found rtsp streams for our beloved japanese channels (some HQ, some LQ) and the majority of them work fine with WMP, VLC... etc.
Enjoy
Let's hope they don't get deleted so fast.

I don't know of any programs for japanese tv on iOS but I tested the above links for you on an application called GoodPlayer (supports URL streaming) and they worked for me, some pics from my iPhone:sbm888 wrote:Has anyone seen any of these programs working on an IOS device? i would love to be able to run it on my iphone or ipad and stream it to my apple TV....
only keyhole works, but its crappy quality.

Is this not working for anyone else? It was working yesterday, but not today.unimportant wrote:I didn't test everything, so some channels may be wrong/not working. If someone could link me to the jpplayer software in exchange, I'd be very much grateful.
edit: never mind, false alarm, it's working now

Just checked and the link above is not working anymore. What a heart breaker, looks like its back to the pixely mess that is Keyhole tv.

I've had a go at this. It points to existing Sopcast streams of:
TV Asahi
Tokyo TV
NHK BS-1
TBS
However, those Sopcast streams are not published on in the channels list on Sopcast, so this app is a way of getting to them
Those chinese services are still easy to exploit... If someone with a server is willing to restream jptv24 channels, I can provide their mms sources.
Edit: Oh well, rape their bandwidth and enjoy while it lasts.

You mean you can provide the mms sources for the sopcast streams found in that chinese software "64码高清网络电视"? because I tried to get them but didn't know how...ikariya wrote:Those chinese services are still easy to exploit... I can't restream or anything unfortunately, but I really want those links

Depending of your location one server may work better than the other (or both are gonna suck), here 125.xx pushes a smooth stream for most channels (except Fuji isn't working at all), but those aren't meant to be used without jptv24/ppcast p2p application.
None of these is MX, jptv24 isn't streaming this channel anymore.
