Synopsis

The 31st NHK Asadora Drama is Oshin. Oshin tells the story of a girl born in a very poor rural family in Japan, who through hard work and perseverance eventually triumphs over pain and adversity to achieve fame and success. Broadcast in the early 1980s when Japan had finally cast off the legacy of the post-war years and the Japanese were beginning to reap the benefits of economic development, the aim of the story was to recall the hardships the older generation had endured in order to pave the way for their children to enjoy their more affluent lifestyle. Viewers were drawn to the suffering of the main character Oshin - and then drew similarities between her story and their own home lives.

Some Japanese worried that showing Oshin abroad would give the country a bad profile - and would even be shameful because it showed the seldom glimpsed, poor, unequal side of Japan. In the event, the reverse proved true. Oshin gave viewers outside Japan - whose only image of Japan was formed by Japanese cars or electric goods, or through bitter memories of Japanese treatment during World War II - a far better understanding of the modern Japan and its people.

sorry to ask, but i'm in trouble with downloading from this Flyupload site. At the beginning, the download speed seems very good but it drops quickly to zero and just stay stucked like that forever

the site says it allows unlimited parallel downloads and stuffs. I use IDM but only get 1 connection download

and ended up like above. Is there any trick here?

Or can you share the files via D-addicts torrent? it'd be much appreciated

Hmm... D-addicts is a forum dedicated to sharing of dramas through torrents.
We appreciate the effort you're taking to upload these episodes, but it really is more efficient as a long-term solution to share these videos using torrents. Maybe you merely meant to use abbreviation, but it should be JPN or JP. The word ''JAP'' is derogatory and offensive.
If you say ジャップ(Jap-jappu) in Japan,you will be slashed with a Katana sword by Samurai in a moment.

I have try to download several softwares to watch .mkv files, but likely it is missing some codecs. For Windows Media I can see the picture but cant hear the sound, and vice versa for Media Player Classic I can hear the sound but cant see the picture.

Please tell me you guys which software did you use to watch Oshin

But this made me cry when I first saw it.

I love the movie so much. Thank you mushashi25 for your effort. This movie was so popular in Vietnam, that Oshin become a Vietnamese vocabulary to indicate young girl from the rural area coming to the city to work.

It looks do not I have the I subtitle in English, because in fact I am doing the translation to Spanish.

You have to write the code that asks you, then is opened a paginates and there begins the countdown, when finishes give to the button to download.

PD: If finally you fail to download, notify me and I do a mirror in megaupload.

currently downloading Oshin Ep.24 manually without DL-manager...
coz my connection is bad, lots of DC.. i use DLM to resume the file..
and not working with Gigasize... i hope no DC in 1hour 33minute ahead...

The size specified in the site is 83.58Mb, but the real size is 21.6Mb, and it's impossible to expand the archive.
