I find it so adorable, but I have no idea what it is or what it's called. Is it a Korean character?!

The most famous thing to come out of Japan isn't Sony?
Or maybe Nintendo. Nintendo was one of the most profitable companies in Japan for several years.

Nin-wha? nin....tendo?
Attached to the footprints in spring, to the Japanese song she taught me,
vaguely, I was influenced by her happiness.

Domo-kun is a character created by NHK to advertise their satellite BS-2 channel. You see him dancing around with the Hello! Project girls on Kohaku each year.

As for whether he is the most recognized symbol in Japan. Although it is reported that 90-percent of all Japan kids recognize him, I would think something out of Sanrio, such as Hello Kitty, would be more popular.
