Hello.......I'm definitely new here! I know JK after watching My Girl. Good actor! I also watched him in 'The King and the Clown' but finds it hard for me to take and stomach his role that well! Again the K & C without JK is gonna be 'flat' cos' he did his part well!

But to get THE BEST COUPLE AWARD for his kissing act with the king, whom I've reason to believe is bi-sexual, is discomforting! No offence okay, just offering my humble opinion!

He is NOT a Dancer or Singer. He only sings/dances for cfs when needed and at fanmeetings.

no idea... some of the interviews kind of contradict cuz it says he doesn't mention liking computer games as a hobby, just martial arts, singing and watching movies. So I dunno.

The new film "King`s Man" has already attracted more than 5 million moviegoers. Lee Jun-ki plays Gong-gil in the film. His feminine look in the film reminds fans of Cheung Kwok-wing in the Chinese film "Farewell My Concubine." Lee has been tabbed as Korea`s most promising young actor. Here is what he had to say about the film and his career.

The Junior Herald: It`s reported that you came to Seoul by yourself to become an actor. When did you first think that you could make it as an actor?

Lee Jun-ki: In high school, I hung out with the wrong students. So, my father forced me to learn "taekkyon" to get me on the right track. A year later, while training with my father in "taekkyon," I broke his nose. After that incident, I decided to pursue my dream to become an actor.

JH: Your hometown is Busan. But you don`t seem to have an accent. Why is that?

Lee: It was really difficult to get rid of my Busan accent. I guess I learned from copying the actors I watched on television.

JH: The character you play in the film is quite feminine. Do you consider yourself feminine in real life?

Lee: No, not at all. I am a man of few words. I`m even curt with my friends. And I`m trying to be really active. During the filming of my last movie, "Flying Boys," I got along with the other actors. That made me lively.

Lee: My character is supposed to look like a woman. But that was hard because my facial hair grows quickly. I had to put on a lot of makeup for this role, which was not easy because of the hot weather.

Lee: No, it really wasn`t. In fact, I thought this was a marvelous opportunity for me as an actor. In playing this character, I thought a lot about what homosexuality means. I concluded that the relationships of homosexuals are like that of regular couples.

So sensual was Korean actor Lee Joon Ki's performance as Gong Gil, an entertainer specializing in female roles, in "Wang-ui Namja" (King and the Clown) that his co-star admits he was fascinated by him, if only for a moment, during the filming.

"Lee Joon Ki's lips are very beautiful. So there was a time when, while acting, I was lost in admiration of his lips," said Kham Woo Sung, who played Gong Gil's performing partner, Jang Seon, during a Tokyo press conference.

Lee, Kham and Jung Jin Young, who played the real-life Chosun Dynasty tyrant King Yeonsan in the movie, were in Japan to promote the 16th-century costume drama that became a blockbuster in South Korea earlier this year.

Directed by Lee Jun Ik, the tragicomedy depicts the fate of the two performers who earn popularity by lampooning the king. Despite the nature of their shows, Yeonsan becomes fond of them and invites their troupe to live in his court. However, the fickle and cruel king's affection for the sexy Gong Gil leads to tragedy.

Lee Joon Ki said it was difficult to shake off the "feminineness" he adopted to play this mysterious, womanly man for the film. "The feminine mannerism remained. ... After living four months as Gong Gil, I had a hard time getting the character out of my system," he said.

Yet Kham said Lee is quite masculine off-screen.

Moreover, Jung, whose performance shines as one of the most notorious kings in Korean history, joked: "Personally, Lee Joon Ki is not my type."

hallo!! im new here....im a big fan of jun ki shii too....love him so much especially when he acting in the king n the clown....it was a great movie n i cant believe he can do it so well as kong-gil....cant wait to watch his new drama/ movie
