Hi,
I've been coming here for over a year now and I finally decided to come out of the shadows. Basically, I registered so that I can thank all of you generous people that give us, europeans, the chance to see something that otherwise we would never have the chance to see :-)
I'm now officially addicted to Asian Dramas :D

Hi there.
I am new here and would love to learn more and know more too.
I feel it is so wonderful to know this site and my non Asian friend can also enjoy our Asian series together.
I like to share with them about our Asian series and how nice it is.
I enjoyed watching ancient series due to the fashion I adore. They are so colourful and unique.
Thank you DA.

Smile, can we allow to request here? Just wondering. I did read the FAQ but I am still not really clear with all. sorry.

While searching for goong, I happened upon this place. Why didn't I find it sooner?! Guess I need to crawl out of that cave I've been living in huh? Well, I'm loving the site and will stick around for as long as you'll have me.

I'm rather bad at introductions but I will say one thing...I'm totally obsessed with asian music, dramas and culture. So let's get along okies? n_n

Just signed in today. I like period Korean dramas but I do watch modern ones too. Don't they have strange endings? My favourites are the happy endings, good guys get their girls...yes, like Cinderella, Snow white etc. If I want reality, I'd watch Survivors or the evening news. Sunshine of love is currently showing on TV and reviews said that it has a strange ending too. Ughhh..I won't watch it anymore. I am going to watch my Green Rose DVDs...

:-)

Au revoir

Why should i download them if my good friend lends me them  My main interests are asian movies and music as well as american stuff. Anyways, Look forward to posting about on here and contributing to the community in anyway i can :thumright:

Post by CherKell » May 15th, '06, 02:08

Hello folks! Long-time lurker; first-time poster. A friend of mine turned me on to this site ages ago, but I haven't had a reason to post until I stumbled across the "Winter Sonata" thread. I got hooked on the recent AZN-TV airing, but was annoyed at all the constant commercials and Comcast interruptions. Grrrr.

So after DLing the first seven episodes from D-Addicts, I am now a fan for life. Many thanks go out to TinyOne for the absolutely perfect encoding job on "WS," and many thanks to all the others who take time out of their busy lives to upload all the cool stuff here. Looking forward to many more 'feeding and seeding' opportunities to come!

Hey, I'm a new member here, although I browsed through the site and all a few times. :] I LOVE dramas except for the fact that it's a pain in the ass for me to download them, since I have crappy connection. I mainly like Korean and Japanese dramas, I have yet to really watch any Chinese ones. I tend to go inactive a lot due to my busyness, so if I end up making two posts and five months later I end up being SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER active, that's me. o_o;

But I would like to thank you for making such an awesome site where I can watch all these dramas. *tries to type Japanese but fails because of lack of knowledge of the computer being used*

Hi All,

My name is Stella and I am new to d-addicts.I find this site wonderful, an answer to my prayers - to catch up on all the asian dramas. Since I reside overseas, having access to asian drama is extremely tough, so a BIG THANK YOU to the founder of this site and I would like to thank all of you for sharing. :)

Hado everyone, other than a minor hostility, Im glad to be on this forum. I came here once before but it wasnt so popular but now it looks like the only place to be for asian dramas. Too bad movies are not aloud cuz i got a good amount of movies that i wouldnt mind sharing. I have my love patzzi and bright girl's success but they look like from a different group than what is seeded here. For jdramas I only watched great teacher onizuka and want to get into more jdramas but don't know where to start. Any suggestions?

Hey everyone how's it going? I'm Jieshi and I've been around on this site for about 3 days (I've been using bittorrent for a week- oh the joys of broadband)

I absolutely love Asian TV in general but I especially like Japanese TV as I speak Japanese because I was on exchange there for the duration of last year.

hope to meet everyone soon!

P.S I come from Australia

My name is Ryan Maguire, and I am 15 years old. I live in Ontario, Canada.
I really like watching movies and videos from japan, korea, & china. I just started a while ago, and the first first one I am watching is Hana Yori Dango. I love it so much!

Hope to talk to you guys soon.
Bye!
Hey Ryan! Welcome to D-Addicts! =D Kinda new here myself, so we'll be newbies[ish] together, lol, ok? xP "Hana Yori Dango" is really good, and I'm pretty sure you'll love it! Hope to see you more here. =)
Yeah, currently i'm downloading episode 5 of Hana Yori Dango. I wish there was more time in a day because there are so many series I want to download but cant because I don't have enough time. :argue: :pale:
Oh really? Cool. =) You just have 4 more episodes to go. =P Yeah, I wish there was more time too, cuz I've got loads of things I wanna watch, but I'm on the computer, like 24/7, so it doesn't take very long. You can always leave the computer on for a few hours...? Well, um, what else do you wanna watch besides Hana Yori Dango?

Hi, my "name" is Concetta and I was very happy to find this site since I love asian culture, especially Chinese culture. It's fun to watch the C-dramas because I took Chinese my senior year in highschool (they had just added it then) and found the language fascinating so, watching the dramas has kind of helped jog my memory of the stuff I learned and forgot most of, three years ago. I like historical dramas better than present day ones, I think they are more interesting. I don't have a favorite C-Drama just yet, although I do like "Devil Beside You." I've seen J-dramas too, which I like. My favorite so far is "Gokusen." I really liked the anime of that one as well and I am still reading the manga. Good stuff. I also enjoy "Hana Yori Dango." Read the manga, watched up to ep. 32 in the anime, I think, and have seen the first episode of the J-drama. I haven't seen the C-drama of it yet. That's probably my favorite shoujo series. I wish bittorrent was faster . . . Ah, well.

another infected person...

watashi wa isamu-san desu

nice to meet you all!

just found this site following a link from animesuki.com and downloaded 17 episodes of return of condor heroes...
its a shame that nothing like this is shown in germany. rather than that some really awful produced series.

i think my first contact ever was H2. after seeing the anime i stumbled upon a real life episode and decided to give it a try...ended in really liking it.

gto was a favorite anime series of mine too and i read some of you advise to watch it.
my problem i only found some french subbed episodes. are there any with english subs that are still seeded?

and can you tell me what i may like too if i liked return of the condor heroes and H2?

i know its bad to ask so much just by joining the addicted people in here hehe.
but its a pain to finding it out by myself if you all have already a far and broad knowledge of dramas.

let me thank you in advance

sincerly yours

Isamu

something that may be weird for a german guy...besides addiction to dramas...i am buddhist^^

Hey Isamu!

Thanks for joining this forum and I'm glad you like ROCH. Are you downloading ep. 18? I just watched it tonight. It was so touching between the two main characters and the fighting was great! I would recommend HSDS 2003. It's a sequel of ROCH. Here is the trilogy.

Legend of Condor Heroes --> Return of Condor Heroes --> Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre

I don't think you have any luck on LOCH. But to get HSDS, you can go here. Here is the preview.

thank you!

yes watched episode 18 already and cant wait for next one lol.

finally they are together again...passionless valley pah...the master seemed to be too eager to marry gugu^^ what i like are the beautiful places that are shown in the series. feels like watching a movie and not a series.

any chance anyone knows where to get GTO? really need to watch it...

about beautiful days...i am a bit confused. i watched the anime and it had a really nice atmosphere in it. is it the same in the live action and same story or is it something completly different and has nothing to do with the anime movie?

Hi guys :).

When I was a kid, I used to watch anime all morning/afternoon, and "phim tau" (Chinese dramas) with my family all evening. Then...I kinda grew out of it, and now, I'm starting to get back into it. My current obsession? Hana Yori Dango, both anime and live action. F4 are hottt XD! I'm not too keen on Meteor Garden for some reason though.

Anyways, I'm still relatively new with BitTorrent and other aspects of fansubbing and what not, but I hope to contribute to this (seemingly) good community once I start my chinese lessons in high school :D.
