gah i havent watched a lot of dramas T_T so thatz what im gonna recommend! im watching my 2nd jap drama so i cant really give u any jdramas. so yeah.

OK here are some of my faves.

J-drama-
Hana Yori Dango first EVER drama i watched. I loved it to PIECES! Matsujun was PERFECT for playing Doumioji Tsukasa
Kimi wa petto Very cute, was a little weird (like someone said about the dog fetishes) but it was nice nonetheless.

K-drama-
Stairway to Heaven- I am very partial to this one becuz it was my first K drama and i cried so much! I still love it. Actually im ordering the boxset soon.
My girl- lee da hae + lee dong wook + lee junki = HOOOOOT! Lovely story plot too!
Autumn Tale- very sad but it was beautiful!
Goong- very cutesy series. I liked it alot.
Spring Waltz- im currently watching it and i love it!!!
Tree of heaven- loved the acting in this one!
My sister in law is 19- LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT!
And more i cant think of right now...

Japanese Dramas
Hana Yori Dango: A Must See if you like high school stories, or just something a bit different.

1 Liter of Tears: If you want to cry (and trust me you will, I had over 6 years I did not shed a tear till I watched this, by the 5th episode I could not hold it back.

Attention Please: What can I say, hehe is pretty darn funny, Aya's character is so outthere.

Meteor Garden --> love Vic so much....

K-Drama:
Full House --> really..really.. good dorama. I love SHK very much... She's so pretty yet good acttress
My Girl --> Lee Da Hae make me laugh in every moment she talk....
My Sassy Girl --> great plot with great actor

J-Drama:
1 Litre of Tears --> The only dorama that can make me cry in every episodes..
GTO --> the best teaching dorama ever....
Nobuta wo Produce --> Maki-chan is so kawaii.... The storyline is quite unique
Densha Otoko --> the best Otaku drama I've ever seen..
Hana Yori Dango --> a very funny and royal dorama
Summer Snow --> I like the act of Dohmoto Tsuyoshi... He act as a busybody person..

On top of the Forbidden City (OMG... That was the first and worst Cdrama I've ever seen...

My Name is Kim Sam Soon- Absolutly love this series reminds me of Bridget Jones

Full House- Romantic comedy with Rain(Bi)if your a fan then this is your kind of drama. I can really feel the chemistry with the two main charaters.

Delightful girl Choon Hyang- it did drag on abit and there were some questions that weren't answered.for example wereon earth did choon hyang mum dissapear to?

Lovers in Paris-Its what I expected two rich guyz fall in love with a workign class girl hmm.... I'll let you guyz decide about this one

My Girl- I thought this series was absolutly sweet!! I loved the story,

Lets go to school Sang Doo-Such a sad drama I cried so much in it. Two peoeple were just meant to be together but they go thru so many obstacles in life. and in the end.... well u'll have to see for yourself.

A Love to Kill-err... wasn't used to seing Bi in these kind of morbid drama. I thought it dragged on too much and i cudn't feel the chemistry of the two main characters.

Sweet 18- must watch such!

[Taiwanese]
It started with a Kiss- This is the first taiwanese drama Ive seen so far I LOVE IT!! Its so hilaruous.. A girl whos fancied a guy for ages. they go trough a lot of ups and downs and finally they get together atteh end. Its a must watch , i LAUGHED so much throughout ths series.

Prince turns into frog- I seriously think tghis series is over rated I thought it dragged on quite a lot.I duno everyone has different oponions. but I think this series is a so,so

Devil beside you-Hm... this is the same I found it a bit boring, I think the couple go togetehr to quickly, there wasn't much of a story line in my opinon. But you do get some funny scenes in it lol.....

I've just recently got into asian dramas and I really enjoyed Long Vacation, which came out 10 years ago but still seems really fresh and not at all outdated. So far I've watched Goong/Princess Hours, My Girl, GTO, Autumn In My Heart and Long Vacation and have enjoyed them all. I'd rank them in the following order:

1. Long Vacation: Great 1st episode. Gets really good from ep. 3 onwards. NON-draggy.
2. My Girl: Strong start and middle, weak ending. Good-looking characters and incredible chemistry between the Gong Chan and Yoo Rin saves the show.
3. Goong/Princess Hours: Mostly consistent throughout the whole series in terms of pace and plot. Beautiful set and nice story. Unfortunately, it's abit slow and draggy.
4. Autumn In My Heart: Your typical tragic love story. Sad but beautiful.
5. GTO: Would probably have appreciated this more if I had seen it in high school.

I've also partially seen the following series, which I will rank in order in terms of preference:

1. Pride: 1st Ep only
2. Kim Sam Soon: Up to Ep 3
3. Boku Dake no Madonna: 1st Ep only

Bad Family! I love love love love love it! It's one of the best dramas I've EVER watched.
It may lack eye candy, but it makes up for it in other areas.
Like story! Characters! Humor! Tears!
Incredible acting from everyone but Hyun Young (I found her annoying).
It doesn't really focus on the elaborate love triangles that are so common in other dramas, but it's not lacking. There's plenty.
It's hilarious. And then at the same time, it's so touching that it puts you in tears.
And Na Rim is such a cute little girl!

however i LOVE mars the manga...so i might some day eventually watch it

but i was hoping to watch it with chinese subtitles instead of eng...or else i'd have to listen to wht they say...and read the subtitles and then translate back into chinese myself which is kinda hard o.O lol

its no problem! sorry i guess i expect everyone to want english subs!..lol...and yea i dont really like the girl either but she does do those" crying scenes" really well so i respect her as an actress... but you should DEFINETLY give it a try one day! although its not your typical "beautiful guy/beautiful girl" coupe (well the girl at least) the story is really great! =]

Well.. I don't think they're as good as the Japanese or the Korean ones i recommended.. since its a lot longer. Might get draggy at times, but it's worth the watch

1) My Girl( it's so funny that you'll laugh from start to end)
2) Full House( very funny also, bi and songhyekyo is a great couple)
3) Heaven's Tree (this is sad and just sad. Lee wan is so cute)
4) Which Star are you From? (the acting was great and hilarious, and the storyline is very unique)
Japanese
1) My Boss My Hero (the funniest jdrama ever, Tomoya Nagase was great)
2) Taiyo no Uta (sad and unfortunately Sawajiri Erika has an illness again)
3) 1 Litre of tears (after you watch this you will cry)
Chinese
1) Return of the Condor Heroes 2006(great actions and great cast)
Taiwanese
1) Meteor Garden 1 ( very good with the F4 and all)

Hi and sorry if you've seen topics like this before! D: I was wondering what dramas are really good, in your opinion, that have female leads only? (If it's a guy, I feel like I don't connect with him since I'm a girl and, as they say, "a guy and girl have two different minds." Lol. Sometimes I feel that way.) This can be any language.

Personal favorite is Korean, but J, T, HK, etc. are good too. Romantic-Comedies are super cool!

* If you think of a really good one that doesn't have a female lead (as narrator and such), please post it too.
