THen beginning of ep12 she tells him she didnt want the divorce and he says he was really worried they broke up. My question is, maybe it's because i'm going by subs since I"m not korean, the only reason they were going to get a divorce was cause he agreed so it was mutual. Now that she doesn't want a divorce, isn't he still supposed to want it because he said he cant ever see her anymore?? Or was she saying she loves him supposed to be the part she's kidding about? Thanks for any clarification.
wow five times, already?glen wrote:My friend recommend this series and she promise that I will fall in love with the characters especially BI. And she even send a picture of BI for me. At first I really don't like him because he is not that cute or handsome in the picture sent to me. But when I finally starting watching FULL HOUSE, I suddenly realize that YES!, he got charms and he able to catch my attention. That started it all!! Right now, I watched full house five times. And still like it more. It really a must see series!!!
I didn't think attic cat was all that..I couldn't get past episode 2...it dragged so much and I don't really like Jung Da Bin. She's always acting so stupid. At least Han Ji Eun had some spunk to her.Kayote wrote: I would sum it up as very similar to ATTIC CAT but not in its class. To me, ATTIC CAT is the pinacle of asian dramas and while FULL HOUSE was good drama in the similar vein but it just felt 2-3 episodes too long. And definitely the characters were not as memorable (or realistic?!) as ATTIC CAT.

See also "Sweet 18" starring Lee don gun...it's also cute and romantic. My Love Patzzi is also worth watching ^^ . Check the "recommended korean drama" thread, it will be helpful for you.applevspeach wrote:hi! umm..i don't know if this is the place where i'm suppose to post this..OMG!!! talking about full house..i really really really really luveeeeed it!!! i just finished it last week n i think i'm goign to watch it again
do you guys have other series to recommend to me?!?!?!
something like full house
romantic, sweet, funny with little dramas and cute guys!!!
Yeah, that is true, Full House only really required him to act arrogant most of the time, while in Sang-doo there was so much more to his character. Still, I loved this one much better than Sang-doo even though I liked that one too.WhiteboyLoveAsian wrote:Actor Rain gave a good performance but not as good as his performnace in "Let's go to school, Sang-Doo". He can act but his role is this serie did not allow him to fully express his acting ablity.
hi everyone, i'm newbie here and this is my first post... i enjoyed this series very much and i'm watching it again and againsosushi2 wrote:I enjoyed this drama very much. A nice change from the death and dying endings, but I have two question or maybe three. What does it say in Ji Eun's book that Young Jae looks at in the second episode to try and find someone to call to come get her? It's in Korean and he kind of smiles at it (not the time when he finds her birthday in it). Did she write that she met him that day? Second question is why does he act so shy after the night in the tent? What does that mean? Third what is MISA that a few of you had mentioned? Is it a new drama?
I do agree with you on the kiss, it could be better!! but since they kissed only twice (1 real kiss) in the series, you will like the restLil_Bubot wrote:I Love this Series!!! More importantly, nobody dies from some type of terminal disease...heheheheh!!!![]()
Personally, the only thing that I didn't like was the kiss between the 2 main actors... it was a little "lame"... could be better... but i still give this series "SEE IT"... You'll enjoy it!!!
Spoiler wrote:The part where she waited for him at the restaurant was just so hard to watch. He didn't come at all and I wanted to slap him so bad >=( Really repetitive though. First she leaves, then he brings her back and this happens about 3 more times? Then they completely change places and he's the maid for her and leaves... then comes back. Another painful moment I thought was when he announced he was getting divorced to her. OH! And also when he was in his apartment and started to cry. I couldn't help but shed a few tears because they obviously loved each other but they're giving up! I'm glad they didn't though =) And at the end where they were in the tent, Bi looked cute hiding his head in the blanket![]()
Yeah I second that! They need some "tongue" kissing actions. They kissed like two manacans kissing each other.Lil_Bubot wrote:I Love this Series!!! So I decided to get the rest but there are little seeds of the 350mb (0 for a lot) so I was going to get the 700mb ones though my download speed isn't very fast so I decided to check clubbox and found there are 350mb ones on there so I decided to get them from there even though I didn't really want to sign up to clubbox... but I think Full House is worth it.. and If it's as good as I hope I might also get the dvds from yesasia since there only around £50 (I love conversion rates)
/me hopes he manages to get all the eps
I'm a big fan of K-movies and I thought the K-drama "Lover in Paris" was quite good, but "Full House" was without question the worst K-drama that I've had the misfortune of seeing.puccakiss79 wrote:Now that you know what I think, I'd like to know what you think![]()
Maybe you like the more profound/melodrama like ' Love in Paris '. Love in Paris was just okay for me. However, it's still your opinion and I have mine.Typhoon wrote:I'm a big fan of K-movies and I thought the K-drama "Lover in Paris" was quite good, but "Full House" was without question the worst K-drama that I've had the misfortune of seeing.puccakiss79 wrote:Now that you know what I think, I'd like to know what you think![]()
Why?
The main character played by the K-singer "Rain" has no redeeming qualities.
The character he plays comes across as completely immature, proud to a fault, whiny and completely petty. In other words, a complete jerk and a hopeless p*ssy. I find his behaviour irritating rather then funny and any funny moments are completely overshadowed by his boorishness and childish petulance.
I understand what the producers were trying to achieve. An "opposites attract" romantic comedy, but this one completely missed the mark, in my view. They should be forced to watch such classics such as "Bringing Up Baby" and "His Girl Friday" with Cary Grant untill they understand how it's done.
The only way I can rationalize the popularity of "Full House" is that Rain is such a popular singer right now that his teeny-bopper fans will watch anything and forgive any kind of behaviour.
Wasted hours of my life that I'll never get back.
"Lover in Paris" was okay - it religiously followed that "10 Commandments of K-Dramas" posted elsewherecrazylife123 wrote:Maybe you like the more profound/melodrama like ' Love in Paris '. Your sentence would be correct without the comma and is incorrect with the comma. Like so:Typhoon wrote:An "opposites attract" romantic comedy, but this one completely missed the mark, in my view.
I agree with you zdoon. Bi did a wonderful job. I don't think anyone else can fit his character with SHG in this series. For a singer, he did a great job in acting. I'm not a Rain's fan. I haven't listen to any of his music until recently. I can't really say he's a great singer because I don't understand the language. I watched his 2005 concert tour. I like his dancing and performance. He remind of the Korean version of 'Usher Raymond'. Overall, Rain didn't have much experience in acting. However, he did a great job with 'Full House'. Why? Well...look at the ratings and the sales of DVDs that has been sold.zdoon wrote:Your sentence would be correct without the comma and is incorrect with the comma. You notice the difference? Some people simply don't "get" a show or like a character. There's nothing wrong with that but you're objectivising a sentiment purely personal to you. Some people might call it snooty. There's no basis for Rain's "missing the mark." His acting is fine - I think his comedic timing is great. HIs character is what it is. You don't like him, that's obvious. You could have condensed your wordy post into a few words; namely, "I didn't like Bi's character."
I of course like his character. I was rolling in laughter when he makes fun of Ji-eun when she mistook his car for a present. That pregnancy scene was hillarious too. A self-absorded juvenile star who is not without his tender sense of responsibility, indepedence, and appreciation for things. Funny guy.
I don't see Full House as an "opposites attract" romantic comedy. The opposite-factor doesn't weight as much. He was hopelessly attracted with his first love, and he only grew to care for Ji-eun because of the fact that they live together under the same roof.Typhoon wrote:I understand what the producers were trying to achieve. You forgot to mention Song Hye Gyo. I could count a number of guys here who watched FH just bcoz of SHG. I didn't even know Bi is so popular with his singing. I don't think he sings as good as he acts. Why don't you try Sang-doo Hakkyo Gaja where his character is not so "completely immature, proud to a fault, whiny and completely petty. In other words, a complete jerk and a hopeless p*ssy?". If your type in men is the chivalrous and saintly type, then this is the right Bi-drama for you.Typhoon wrote:The only way I can rationalize the popularity of "Full House" is that Rain is such a popular singer right now that his teeny-bopper fans will watch anything and forgive any kind of behaviour.
I didn't like Kang-ta's malnourished-head in Loveholic and Jung Da Bin's pathetic character in Attic Cat. Both dramas I had stopped watching coz I'm scared to "waste hours of my life that I'll never get back." Darn, I should have been there to tell you such a clever idea eh?Typhoon wrote:Wasted hours of my life that I'll never get back.
