Hehe yeah I was sad when I heard of Azumi 3 but another girl plays the main role I was liek Nooo how do you kill a movie like that 9Just liek Home Alone lol first 2 = Macolly Colcan{Spelling} and than the 3rd some new kid and it was ruined)

But yeah Aya needs to do some more movies because even though she is a Singer she is also a great actress and really really cute.

Hehe go watch 'Install' that movie was really really weird, stars Aya and some little 9 year old. The music is kinda funny sounding to.

The 9 yr old is an amazingly lucky kid. I don't know for sure if he actually planted his plams on her oppai......but he also played in a drama with Iijima Naoko and there was scene where he and her were taking a bath together. Naoko plays mama and he plays son. So he lucky kid. Getting all the good scenes with beautiful women

Aya Ueto's smile is so contagious. I guess that's why i'm drawn to her series/movies/mvs. But more so her ability to charm. I'm so late on this wagon. I found out about her through watching Kaze wo Ukete at a friends house earlier this year. After that I was hooked. Go AYA!!!

Other then Azumi 1 + 2, what other movies was she in? Cause I think those are the only movies I have seen of hers..

Hello! Nice place here. And great pictures.

I'm a big fan of Reiko Ike, Miki Sugimoto, Maiko Kaji, etc. Checked out Azumi. And WOW! Aya Ueto is cool too. My wife says she's popular and has some DVD's. So a search was done and this site was found.

She's gets a lot of DVD's from her mom. And she'll be putting together a list of things. I seed a lot of GD shows, but never any J-Drama types. We'll try to figure out what to upload. This is a lot different than torrenting GD shows where MD5's are important.

We've been watching Attention Please and it is really cool.

No......sadly I don't.
Roppongi only did subtitles for the last Matthew show.

Hopefully someone is willing to do subtitles for these.
I don't know how to put these up for download here at D-addicts, but if someone knows how to do that and upload these for some other to watch and do subtitles or so....that be cool.

quite a differrent type of girl. Meiko kaji would be seen with a knife in the hand, Ueto Aya it would rather be a little rabbit or some other pet.

Right! Meiko Kaji! She was cool in the four Prisoner 701 movies and the two Lady Snowblood movies. Wasn't too impressed with the one Stray Cat Rock DVD I have. Maybe they'll transfer more to DVD.

But it was because there was nothing left to get of Ike, Sugimoto, or Kaji that a different genre was tried. That's how Aya Ueto was found, by getting Azumi. Now, she's pretty fierce with a sword in that movie. She might even be able to take on an entire gang from the early 70's movies.

What can I say about Aya Ueto - one of the famousest celebrity in Japan? I know, i know You dont want to read it again and again. But i feel I have write smth...only a bit...

I've heard about Aya when I watched Azumi 1&2. Movie wasn't so wonderful - normal plote, nothing new but Aya wasn't normal for me. At that time I was so surprised. I was surprised about way of playing of Aya. Movie wasn't "Silence of the lambs" but Aya for me was so good.
Then I watched Yoshitsune ( really good taiga drama ) and Aya was better than in Azumi. She was intrigue for me.
Now I have to watch smth deeper than Attention Please! or My little Chef. I want to see her rest of talent which I've never seen previously. Maybe Shinobi, maybe Insutoru..I dont know but i feel i have to - simply because i like her.
But Aya singing too. I've some tracks. She has good songs ( for example Ai no Tame ni, hello, True love ) but sometimes i think she has so strange voice. I can't say that she can't sing but have mixed feelings sometimes.
Anyway I prefer Aya as a actress. ;-)

If you want to see Aya in something different and deep, I say Kinpachi Sensei 6. She plays a character who feels she is a boy in a girls body. Gender Identity Disorder is what the drama goes off of. Really good. Its one of her earlier dramas, but definately one of her bests acting.
After this one.......KouKou Kyoushi 2003. Its deep, dark in some ways, but 100% different.

If you watch these two, you'll see the extent to her acting

Least I think so.

hi there..i wondering whether do u know how i can get my little chef english subtitle? this jdrama also from Ueto Aya...i've already checked the english sub for this drama at d-addicts but i can't found it.. this site shows that there is english softsub for my little chef but i didnt found it.. hope u can help me with these...i'm really waiting to watch this drama but unable until i get the eng softsub...tq

I checked the Subtitle section and didn't find the softsubs.

I'm going to guess that you know that the DVD quality with subs is up for dl....
