I watched this drama and I agree that it had a similar feeling to Liar Game. I thought the plot was tight and for something less than 40 minutes, the story flowed nicely and a lot seemed to happen in a short amount of time. But, it wasn't overwhelming. I think the characters are interesting and I look forward to more interaction between Toma and Ai's characters.
Yeah, the directing is so similar with LIAR GAME. So, I'm surprised to know the staff are totally different with LIAR GAME's staff, I thought it has at least the same director.
I enjoyed it alot!!! There's someone behind this Witch Trial, who observe everyone and everything from a dark place and I want to know who he is! He seem so evil^^
I'll definitely follow this drama weekly^^

Yeah, I got the LIAR GAME vibe, too, although, I also was thinking Death Note at the same time. I think I described it to my roommate as LIAR GAME, Death Note, and Law and Order all mixed together.
Anyway - can't wait to see where it goes... Definitely is interesting, though I'm also curious to see how this affects people's view of the new lay-judge system...

Oh yes! Now that I think about it, the show does seem like an odd mix of all three shows. It has a very unusual vibe and I really like it.

Yeah, it will be interesting to see who he really is in the drama. He does seem really evil, and I like his evil laugh, ke ke. I also thought he looked familiar from the other dramas and it turns out he was "Daimon" in Mei-chan No Shitsuji. I'm looking forward to the next episode!!yanie wrote:I enjoyed it alot!!! I agreeee!!! I was watching VOICE and thought, "...I like his straight hair.............." The curly look, for me, only looks nice on certain people.donburi wrote:This was interesting, but I miss his Maou hair!
The curly curly perm look (lol) doesn't suit him as well I think.
I wonder when or if he will get the sexy hair in the promo image.
The antagonist guy look so different from his character from Mei-chan's Butler, because in that show, he looked older and now, well... I guess he looks more his age.
I think this show is going well. I like the mystery-like drama and things unraveling ^_^

I can't seem to find them at the moment, but they are here: http://ckmoons.livejournal.com/tag/majo+saiban It's only episodes one and two, though.
Thanks to Tomalicious for the hard subs! I'm all caught up to episode 3. Actually, I misread the time and realized after watching it that episode 4 will air next week on the 23rd. Drats, I would've waited before watching episode 3. And they ended on a major cliffhanger too, I swear they did that on purpose!
Anyway, there's not much discussion on this drama. I really like it so far. Like everyone said, reminds me a lot of Liar Game. Can't wait to see more.

At first when I watched ep 1, I thought it was alright and that I wouldn't like it. I'd still follow it anyways because I wanted to see what happens.
However, after 6 eps, I am hooked. I really want to know what happens next.
I really like the acting for Kurokawa's character. For me, he steals the show.

I'm loving it more and more
I'm watching it and I'm loving it too. I saw the "twist" at the end of episode seven a mile away (I had some suspicions during episode one), but it was still an awesome twist. How many episodes is this drama? Nine? Ten? Twelve? It seems almost over. And, am I right in thinking that episode eight won't air until the 27th?

Really? He was actually the only one that disappointed me out of an entire excellent cast (He's overacting to my personal taste...it made me a little sad cause I like him) ..idk...hope to turn my feelings about it around in the last episodes. (I'm at 8 now..so there's still time )yanie wrote: Gosh, I really love Suzuki Ryohei's performance as Kurokawa! I watched this for Toma, but I come to love Suzuki Ryohei's acting more than Toma, instead! He really got a good, challenging role and he did it excellently!
He should get a role in LIAR GAME 2!
Loving this series heaps. It is not getting the attention it deserves by a mile. Great suspense and interesting twists. Anxious to see how it all ends!!

Somehow landed on this drama's wiki and big blank stare from me. I didn't hear anything about Ikuta Toma's new drama. Like everybody here, this drama also gives me a Liar Game x Death Note x 12 Angry Men vibe. It's really interesting so far. Probably got low ratings because of low publicity. What other dramas came out at same time anyways? Maybe it overshadowed this.
I just finished ep7 today and I'm really hating the Kaori character. She doesn't even trust her own boyfriend and even goes as far as to stage a kidnapping. Eehh is she demented or what? I'm also having suspicions as to who is really pulling the strings. I'm suspecting the witch's daughter (acting too pure like she's innocent but really getting weird vibe from her).
Oh and I find the bad silver haired guy really cool. Love his hair. Not many can pull that kind of hair off. Ok continuing with the rest of episodes.
