Anyway, I noticed something strange (dunno if it had been already discussed) but look at this picture I took from official Hanakimi website



and I cannot see Toma-Nakatsu on it ???

ur definitely not blind. toma is really not in the picture. the reason behind that is because our beloved johnny san loves setting restrictions. if you've ever noticed in any of the drama's that the johnny's were in, none of them had an official picture for the drama. johnny only allows you to purchase their pictures through him. no traces of their pictures can be found elsewhere (though that smart man knows that pictures are uploaded on the internet here and there). to make up for the loss of the internet, he maximizes his profits by not letting any more of their pictures leak elsewhere.

@ngpossible: oh, so that's why i keep seeing cartoons/no pics whenever i go to look for drama summaries that involve je artists at wiki...i mean i know about the je thing...the reason why i don't like the above pic so much is bcoz toma is missing (so, does it mean his pic was just photoshopped to fit in the group? or did he get to take a pic with them? *confused*) it sucks when one of the johnny boys are lead roles and he doesn't even have his pic in the poster, but nanba is there so it's fine haha!

anyways, may i ask who is that in ur avatar? i have my guess...but i'm just curious, hehe

toma's picture wasn't in the promotional poster, but when the opening theme comes up in the drama, you can obviously see toma in it. so he was probably at the photoshoot with everyone, just wasn't in that particular picture. i'm sure he isn't too disappointed. the boys were never able to take place in the pictures, so i don't think they feel left out or anything. now they were on the posters for awhile and all of a sudden you say, "alright, can't be on the pictures anymore!", then they'll feel like they're missing out on something. i think they get their pictures on the official dvd boxset and stuff, so i'm sure that makes up for it all.

i think this promotional poster was taken before the actual drama started filming so sekime isn't going to be blonde in the drama. the drama is currently being filmed. that's how they do it in japan...they film the future episodes while current episodes are airing. so the poster is the past sekime and the present him has black hair like the drama.

too bad, sekime looked good with blond hair (except for that gundam wig, hehe)

BTW, I am hoping you guys are having fun with ep 4 w/ my sub Tuesday is near and I am all gear up to sub episode 5. But I would like to ask for a favor to anyone who can offer to me. Recently we are getting 1024 version first and it was a problem for me, because my computer doesn't agree with 1024 version and I am having a hard time subbing it with 1024 version. So, if you can offer me 704 version when it come out then I will be very grateful. It also speed up my subbing process, so everybody win!

It's okay you can leave the picture I don't care Before I used the picture with Dr. Umeda in it, but I rather have Toma in it since he's top 3 main characters. So that's why I screen cap it and then put title and other stuff on it. Now everybody get to see Toma

No there is no Hana Kimi anime. Us Hana Kimi manga fans have been begging for one for years, but alas, no progress But maybe, as in the theme of Gokusen or GTO, maybe the success of the drama produces an anime...? Who knows.

And I like Shun's black hair. It's like how I like Yamashita's black hair-- it's because it's natural. But of course, they need variety (like me), so they dye their hair all of the time, haha

Yes celebrities google themselves. I think Shibutani Subaru from Kanjani 8 mentioned once how he looked himself up online and was amazed at the amount of websites that popped up...! But of course they'd read the Japanese language forums, not English first Then again, Toma's pretty good at English, so who knows?

Well yeah the English publisher probably hasn't translated all of the Japanese volumes of the manga yet and that's why it's not released in English speaking countries yet. However, all of the Japanese volumes are out. I'm not sure if you're interested, but there are scanlations out on the web that has all of the volumes translated and released, I'm sure. You just have to look for it

When is the OST for HanaKimi coming out? I love the music.

Umm I have a question, I know that's what it's translated in English from Hanazakari no Kimitachi e but if it's the manga then it's Hana Kimi in English from the publisher right?

it's also used in the North American releases of the manga...well those are the ones I've read...

Don't know if it's been discussed before but in one of those pics that kozumifan, Oguri Shun's hair is short. So does that mean that he's gonna cut his hair in the drama? Or is it that the mag scan is old?

hmm...I dunno why chinese magazines write Shun as that bad looking. I don't think he's too bad looking in some photos. They write in the dialogue for tw sano actor (I'm better looking) jp sano (Am I really that far apart? [meaning far apart in looks])

I, personally, think he should cut his hair but I really doubt he'll cut it for the drama.


Anyway, to anyone who lives in Osaka or has been there, has anyone noticed that the character names are the same as train stations in Osaka? Umeda, Tennouji, Nanba and I think Nakatsu are names of the places or train stations in Osaka. I always thought that was really weird.
