does anyone know the reason why lsqB decided to quit subbing this series? it's a real pity cause her translations were excellent.

@ lsqB,

Not sure if you'll ever see this post, but I just want to express my gratitute for your hard work in subbing this show so far. My experience with your works has been with this show only, but they had so far been both prompt and of the top quality. I will miss your subbing. :-(

On another note, I am happy that you've found your next goal in life. Godspeed to your new endeavor. Majoring in Engineering is tough work. I know -- I got my BS in EE. Just hang in there no matter how rough the road becomes. :x

Anyway, hope that you will continue to visit us here in this forum whenever you can. :-)

aoi-haru from Querbeet has picked up this project and will finish the last three episodes. Although we have A LOT of stuff to do, we'll keep this drama in top priority besides Jotei. Since I haven't update the wiki yet, there will be no status reported until aoi-haru post them up. Oh yes, we're continuing Lily's work, so we'll release soft subtitles.

The Chinese subs are by Subpig, not Lily.

I'm SO glad that Papa to Musume is back airing again! This is my favourite drama of this season. It's so awesome :)
It was so funny the way Koume (Papa) waved at Kenta! Kenta is so sweet. I would totally fall for him too.

Morning minna!!

I just want to update everyone on Akira SHOCK! Fansubs status for the drama. Due to some translator problems earlier in the start of the series, we were late in getting the episodes out. Gomen nasai!

But we're working extra hard to bring this wonderful series to you and episode 2 is available for download on the torrent page now! Expect episode 3 next week!

We're working very hard to catch up and bring this wonderful series to you! Please support us in our endeavor, minna! <333

The only difference should just be the encoding? of the two versions I think. I'm not really sure actually ^^;

I prefered hardsubs before because I used to think they were more accurate, which can be true because the team/subber will sometimes try harder to make sure there are no spelling/grammatical errors because you can't change it later...but I've still seen hardsubs with spelling/grammatical errors ^^; I like soft subs better now though, because if I want to take a screenshot of the drama, I don't have to worry about having words at the bottom  And even if there are errors in soft subs, I can just go in and change it around if it bothers me that much. [shrug]

Don't really want to be redundant, but there's no limit to how many thank yous you can get right? =P Thanks aoi-haru!

what's wrong with that nishino lady? what she's intending to do is messed up!!! if i ever rewatch hana yori dango, I would hate shizuka. And shizuka is suppose to be the prettiest, smartest, nicest person. Anyways, unless nishino redeems herself in the last episode, I don't think i can watch another drama with her. I know i am suppose to separate the character from the actress, but still, i can't help to typecast certain people. Just like Mark Hamill, to me, can never be anybody else but luke skywalker.

im loving this drama :]
when im watching this i always wonder...how hard was it for the actor who played the dad to act like a high school girl and vice versa. xD and i feel they are doing a really convincing job of acting out their parts :thumleft:

Yea I agree the dad acted convincingly as a teenage girl. However, in honesty, Aragaki wasn't that convincing acting as a 40 year-old man. Don't get me wrong. Her acting has certainly improved tremendously since I last saw her in My Boss My Hero. But when my friends who had not been following the show were overlooking me watching this show, they asked me why the dad is acting like such a little teenage girl but they never suspected that the daughter was acting out of character at all.

Not trying to defend Aragaki or anything but from watching the shows somehow the dad (daughter) doesn't seems to have that much storyline either, other than she in love with her senpai. Wish the writers can expand more on that angle. Like what will the father do knowing that the boy also shows interest in his daughter, etc?

i think it the script writers are given more episodes to write on then they can expand on that. but for now its good enough. i agree that aragaki's acting skills right now doesnt really let her look like a married man with a child but she has improved, at least she made me like her much more this time(disliked her a little when she was in My Boss, My Hero. ^^||) she improved. :D

I sort of agree with your accessment where the dad's skills showed way more than gakki's but in her defense, I think guy act girlish is easier than girl act guyish at least from a "facial/physical stand point", plus the pains relating to have a older body "stayed" with the father, so gakki couldn't do that bit. You're free to counter arguement me, i could be totally wrong.

I think the teacher's tiraids (sp) was hilarious, in particular his evil look during that chase scene, other wacky expression was priceless.
