Well, he only dares to look at her like that when he knows she's not looking back. That's why we call it 'stealing a glance'.bmwracer wrote:From the look on Juri-chan's face, she doesn't feel the same way...hanapyupyu wrote:The tender way Tamaki is gazing at Juri just kills me.bmwracer wrote: Chemistry.
Great chemistry.

Juri-chan IS Nodame.
Hiroshi-kun IS Chiaki-senpai.
The live-action version is more "animated" than the anime itself.
Which is why they have to make another live-action drama once the manga is complete!bmwracer wrote:I've tried watching the anime and reading the manga online... But neither can hold my attention.....

Yeah, the production of the drama and SP were top-notch... Nodame is a great example of a drama that gets good ratings because it's well-made, not because it's loaded with idols.hanapyupyu wrote:Which is why they have to make another live-action drama once the manga is complete!bmwracer wrote:I've tried watching the anime and reading the manga online... The live-action version is more "animated" than the anime itself. They really hit the jackpot here with the drama - assembling the best cast, fantastic director, great script with lots of comedy and some drama, subtle romance and brilliant music. All these ingredients are still in place for the sequal (except that the location has changed to Paris - budget constraints?). I want to see more character development and growth for Nodame-chan, both personally and musically. Also more progress between Chiaki and Nodame.
I cant read them tooabitterkiss wrote:Here's a site with the list of songs used in every episode... but I can't read it. Haha!

i've been in Prague, and i think the scene with junior Chiaki and Vieira sensei took place in the Prague Castle's garden, where you can see the famous Charles Bridge from there. i'm not really sure thoughleadfreaky wrote:I'm going to Prague in two weeks and the Nodame SP had some scenes in prague right?~
Does someone know which places? I would love to go to those places!XD
thanks!
Yeah, it really is a magazine: notice the date and price at the lower left...?hanapyupyu wrote:Is that Chopin magazine a real magazine? With Nodame and Chiaki on the cover? Sugooii!!!![]()

Aww....look at Nodame clinging on to senpai's arm with her head on his shoulders. So adorable these two!Damn, they better make the drama sequel next year! Can't wait!
Sugoi...a real magazine on classical music with our beloved Nodame duo on the cover.bmwracer wrote:Yeah, it really is a magazine: notice the date and price at the lower left...?hanapyupyu wrote:Is that Chopin magazine a real magazine? With Nodame and Chiaki on the cover? Sugooii!!!![]()

I guess it shows how popular Nodame is... And how well it was made, that the classical community would embrace it...minamichan03 wrote:wow.. that's amazing!! chiaki senpai and nodame!! kyaaa!!bmwracer wrote:Yeah, it really is a magazine: notice the date and price at the lower left...?hanapyupyu wrote:Is that Chopin magazine a real magazine? Also missing is Rimsky-Korsakov's Flight of the Bumblebee...noisia wrote:Hrm, i've just finished watching episode 8 and it is apparent to me that Barber's Adagio for strings is not in any of the Nodame OSTs! This is the same for Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Jupiter. I'm guessing this is because the Nodame Orchestra didn't actually perform any of these, but it would be nice if there was a list floating about with all the missing pieces.
I've read the first chapter of the manga but found it strange after watching the anime. A manga on orchestras and music doesn't really work for me.miznagase wrote:noisia, have you read the manga?
i don't know if the nodame cantabile SP episodes concluded the manga or not cuz i haven't read them.
us, nodame fans, are all hoping that there's nodame cantabile 2, but we don't know for sure.
but if the SP ended the way the manga ended, then we're out of luck
Yeah the manga is still ongoing..But to think of nodame cantabile 2nd series, it's most probably impossible coz the story behind takes place in Paris and around europe..U cant imagine the MONEY spent if they really do it..so let's just go back n rewatchnoisia wrote: I thought the manga is still ongoing. The manga is ongoing. (Actually, it is on hiatus because Ninomiya is on pregnancy leave, but we hope it will return in the new year.) That said, I don't think the manga has much further to go: perhaps no more than 10-12 chapters, depending on how many threads she ties up.noisia wrote: I thought the manga is still ongoing. The live action has me completely spoiled: I can't watch the anime at all....immaperson wrote:seeing this thread reminds me of how much i missed watching NC + its SPs. i'm looking forward to how the manga is turning how (and hopefully another SP when it finally finishes). I'm missing the live action so much that i've started to watch the anime too. the anime is quite good too, but i've never had the patience to sit through an entire viewing of the series.
Excellent.i think i'll try to dig up my NC vids and watch them during my break =)
