Summer 2014 Jdrama uploads

Post by micehell » Jun 28th, '14, 20:08

Edit: I can see that it's pointless to try to keep this going, so we'll just go with things as is and what shows get missed, get missed. I'll keep uploading the YYeTs stuff and people like semi-fly will keep being awesome and doing what they can, and all complaints about 'why wasn't this or that being uploaded' will be soundly ignored.

It's that time again... time for the disclaimer. ;) Below is the list of what's (supposed to be) coming out for jdramas this summer. As those who have played this game before should remember, you can claim whatever shows you'd like to be the primary uploader on and (theoretically) no one else should upload that show but you... but that's where the disclaimer part comes in, because I do the YYeTs subbed ones regardless and \( -o _ o- )/ does the ones that are encoded by YYeTs (the raws they put out) (plus furransu will put up batch torrents of his own encodes when the season's done), so there's that.

Then there's also the fact that there's no single person doing the DOA releases anymore, either, but that several people put them up in a way that tends to be hit or miss (some of the people who post them here actually follow through and put the whole run of a series up, but others just randomly put one here or there up, which is frustrating, but what can you do... though if someone who belongs to that group would like to volunteer to just upload all their relevant jdrama releases here like Xraymind used to do, that would be good, too). The point being, though, that it's rare enough that any one show has only one uploader on it unless it's one of the less popular ones that YYeTs or DOA doesn't do, so keep that in mind if you volunteer to be an uploader.

Actually a great many of these won't be done by either YYeTs or DOA, so even for those that want the show to themselves, there should be a fair amount to choose from. ;) It's first come, first served, so have at it. Choose one or a lot, there's no limit, but try not to take on more than you'll have time for, of course. Just comment below what your choices are and I'll put you on the list below and mark the show in your color. If you want to upload, but have never done it before, I can point you in the right direction for that, though for the first couple of weeks you post, you'll have to go through some extra steps (to become a member of the uploaders group, the mods wait and see that you won't just do one or two then drop out never to be heard from again ;).

Oh, and even though I used both the forum's list and jdramas.wordpress.com's list (which was my primary souce, as is obvious from the format), I'm sure there will still be a show here or there that is missing ('cause there always is), but it should be good enough to go on.
