First episode airs October 9th (Wednesday). I'll be sure to upload them here much like I did Hanzawa Naoki.

Should be the best drama of the Fall season. Can't wait!!

Hope everyone is getting excited. Expectations are definitely "high" after a great first season and after Sakai Masato's excellent performance in Hanzawa. I think Gakki also does an excellent role complementing Sakai-san. In any case, season two starts this week!!

I'm looking forward to Legal High 2, I liked the first season. I wonder, how they will portrait the relationship between the two main characters, now, that she has actually gained some skills.
That said, this season looks very promising to me. Soooo many drama I want to see.

No problem! Like I said, if there's a drama I like, I'll be happy to upload it like Kodoku no Gurume and Hanzawa Naoki from this past season. However, I don't anticipate anything other than Legal High 2 catching my interest this season since I'm pretty picky.

Well episode one hit around 20% so that's a big difference from season one where it consistently around 10% . However reading 2chan there were a lot of ppl who didn't like it so much. I would expect the viewership to drop from here out. Getting rid of miki sensei and going with okada I think is a big mistake.

I must say the tempo/pace was really bad, and Okada's acting was just so plain

. Of course there's Hanzawa's effect helped this ratings very much, but I don't think they can keep this number, no need to mention "surpass Hanzawa" like the media is boasting

Too bad. I really like the first season!

Yeah, I thought he played such a good role too. But he's going on vacation for awhile, so I guess it's lending itself to having him come back at the end of the season perhaps? At least I hope so.

Leave it to Fuji TV to totally mess things up from a great first season. It still might be good, but I'm not sure why they felt the need to mess with the cast. No wonder Fuji's dramas almost always tank.

Wow, am I the only one expecting more of the second season? Personally, I found Miki and his assistant very annoying, I'm quite happy with the new trio. But I can't stand Koyuki, her character fits her more than perfectly.

Yeah, I dunno, I kinda wish it was one case per episode. In that sense, they could really keep it going for several seasons. I'm not a huge fan of this one case carrying over into multiple episodes kinda thing. Oh well. In any case, lots of funny parts to the episode making it definitely worth watching. Good stuff.

i really enjoy Legal high2..
komikado sensei is awesome n super mega ultra funny...paired with mayuzumi sensei, they are a perfect duo..so funny watch them "quarrel" each other

the story is more complicated than the 1st season...so many twist stories in epsd 1...
nice..hope epsd 2 will as good as espd 1

em why Koyuki (the accused) didnt present in court for most part of her trial? is that a common practice in Japan? i find its odd (the accused not present)

I can't stand Okada Masaki in this and I happen to like him. His winwin, random reference to Saudi Arabia, bad attempt at oshare Engrish is rubbing me off the wrong way.

Honestly I'm enjoying the show so far but there's something wrong with the direction or the script. Sato Ryuta guest starring in episode 2 seemed a bit stiffer than usual. I wonder what's the ratings for ep.2

Okada is pretty terrible and really serves no purpose at all in this season. Speaking some random crappy English and mentioning an Arabian proverb every episode (followed by someone asking what it means and him saying I have no idea) is somehow humorous? *Sigh*

Leave it to Fuji TV to completely mess up a good thing. All I can say is thank GOD Hanzawa isn't on Fuji.

I agree with you... Okada has not charisma in him as a lawyer (maybe i so compared him too much with Sakai's fast talking skill)... and his character also so boring type. I also found Mayuzumi sensei also lack of her straight forwardness toward justice this season. Maybe she was influenced by Komikado's.

I think they changed the script writer or so I heard.

Komikado, Hattori, Miki are essentials. Ando also will play important part.

2 Miki assistant /lawyers and Komikado investigator also playing a good part..

Mayuzumi and Hanyu? meh, i dont mind if they giving them lesser screen time..

Yeah, it's really such a shame they sent Miki on vacation (probably til the end of the season). I think he played such a good role in the first season, and the whole thing with the hamster...classic!!

Oh, and the Hanzawa discussion is gone? No way. I spent a lot of time explaining the differences between the books and drama. It better still be there, haha!

I think episode 3 justifies Hanyu as a character. And the absence of Miki.
Not that Masaki Okada was the right choice to portray him.

in the first season and SP, basically Kamikado's firm vs Miki's firm, good vs bad sides.

in the 2nd, probablu Hanyu's firm is the new sparring partner to Kamikado's. no apparent good sides. i like that aspect (the main protagonist/Kamikado not necessarily in a good side)

the 3 new characters (Hanyu's firm) are poor though. i dont like them..

LOL at the rocky's running scene on ep03.

I am liking Gakki a lot more this season - she seems to have more (or a stronger) character

Even though Hanyu's bunch are the "good guys", I feel annoyed when they get ahead in the trials... Honda Jane's "love and peace" just makes me cringe haha.

lmao. I think you're the only person I've ever heard of that likes Season 2 better than 1. And believe me, I've read a lot of 2chan threads.

Fuji has messed up Season 2 beyond compare. I loved season one and was so excited for season two (as you can see since I created the discussion thread). But I've totally given up on the series now. Many of Sakai's actions are overboard (while they struck a nice balance in the first season) and by doing so, does a lot of rude things (standing on tables, etc) that are really just uncalled for.

Add that to Okada's terrible character (can we please stop with the Saudi Arabia proverbs that he doesn't know what they mean), the hippy's annoying "Love and Peace" cliche, the unnecessary Koyuki scene every episode, and the lack of Miki-sensei, and Fuji (as usual), has done an amazing job in killing this drama.

Luckily, TBS isn't quite as bad, so I'm still holding out hope for a good 2nd season of Hanzawa Naoki!! I can't even bring myself to watch this anymore, and hence didn't bother uploading the last episode.

We hate Komikado's attitude. We hate Hanyu's fake smile. One knows how to play the game. One knows how to make people less unhappy. They would be awesome to the world if they were always battling each other in every courtroom. But that's not the case. That's why Gakky's character has the potencial to be stronger than both. She will have the perfect balance. And I think that's what this season is about.

They're pushing comedy to the background. We have more complex cases now. We don't have bad guys x good guys anymore. And now the script has more substance.

Well, season 1's first half was weaker than second half. Let's see if the same happens to the second season. =)

I also think, that season two is much more interesting than the first one. I really do like the fact, that Hanyus cahracter turns out more and more as a "bad" character, because he does not strive for everyones luck (like he aiys) but for a a solution HE thinks is the best for all people.

I'm also looking forward, about Mayuzumi. Will she beat Kumikado Sensei in the end? Will she join one of the two law fiorms? Or Miki sensei? Or will she start her own?

While I did like the first season of legal high, the second is simply much more interesting, and still funny. And people can hate against it as much as they want: The ratings of season two are MUCH better then these of season one. And THIS is what is important for Fuji TV. It seems, that the opinion of the interwebs differs from the opinion of the "real world"...as often.

I've been enjoying season two, but it definitely isn't as good as the first season. I'm pretty sick of Hanyu and his Saudi Arabia proverbs already. I'm glad Hirosue Ryoko came back for an episode, but I'd happily trade Hanyu and his team to have Miki back.

Sorry, since I've been dedicating all my time to Gochisousan, I haven't been uploading this series. Season 2 has been pretty disappointing for me, and truth be told, I haven't even seen the past 2 episodes.

Hopefully someone will be uploading the rest of the season. Sorry guys, no matter how much I love Gakki in this series, she can't save it from Sakai's overboard antics (way to go writers!), Hanyu's out of place cliched character, and the lack of Miki sensei.

To season 1,season 2 told more about human nature,which is important and could be seen in many many Japanese dramas.
To legal high,the humor,the story and the logic are also important,those elements are in conflict sometimes,but I enjoy the story and humor more,so I'm still catching LH2 where Mayuzumi and Gakki is growing up;)

For me, I'm liking Season 2 a lot more than Season 1, which I really like for its more realistic take on the legal issues but not so much on the Komikado v Miki fight, it was just so childish.

Season 2 still has a a lot of childishness, especially Komikado himself who's even more ludicrous with his comments. But I really like Hanyu as the new nemesis. I find the rivalry has more point now and is not over some stupid hamster (like wtf?). With ep 8, have to say I'm surprised by the direction they're going with Hanyu, didn't think of that at all but yeah, that creepy smile of his has been appearing on strange occasions throughout the season and now it's clearer why. I really hope the writer'll do his character justice realistically, not with some wishful happy ending (tho after all, this is primetime tv, one can only hope). True, that Love and Peach **** has been annoying but for me, this season's been more ridiculous but at the same time, the substance got more serious. The issues and debates in the cases are more interesting and up-to-date so I'm really hooked by that and prepared to ignore the ridiculousness elsewhere in the series.

And yes, Gakky got better and Mayuzumi's grown up a lot. I really love this more realistic Mayuzumi. After ep 6, I thought it would be a Komikado v Mayuzumi but now at ep 8, maybe I was wrong. But I wouldn't mind if I was wrong, if it means we'll still have more Komikado-Mayuzumi duo for a little longer.

As for ep 9, I'm guessing it will all about Koyuki's character trial and this will be the last case of the season/series.
Hopefully, they'll keep up the momentum, end it with a bang and season 3 won't be too far off in reality.
