Thanks for the link! Enjoyed the music so much... My favorite is Aki's Theme.
In this link, you can find out your "Ama-chan Horoscope". LOL what this people come up with... really.
Just type in your bday and find out who's character you are from the show.
Mine is Aki but I think I'm more like Ben-san lol http://happism.cyzowoman.com/2013/08/post_2820.html
Last leg of Amachan! TT o TT We'll be saying goodbye soon!
Sugoi!!! Nice stuffs! Mine is strangely Yui, but I think I'm much more resembling Futomaki

Last week this week...
I didn't expect to tear up while watching next week's final preview,
hitting me that the show will be over.
Danburi and I were just discussing what to do with the word "atsui"
...about how Kai-san would call the young idol girls as "Atsui yo ne".
It's creepy he's calling a young girl Veronica as "hot" so I had to change it,
bec. I don't think it would sound appropriate in Western context.
So I laughed at the Title of the final week:
"Oratachi, atsui yo ne"
Yes. Yes. Amachan guys, in your case, you are all atsui ^_____________^
I'll miss the show!!
I want to watch the final episode eating a bowl of mamebu.
But since it's troublesome to make, I think I'll just have kappa sushi ala Suzuka-san lol

I think atsui there means "hot topic" or that the idol/group is gaining popularity, not "sexually hot".

Yeah, I would definitely go with something like "exciting" or "cool", something like that. Definitely not used in the same sense that "hot" is used in American English with a sexual connotation.
Funny and so cute! Some people think she's retarded. What do you think?
She is very shy with people.
Sometimes, seem that she could not find the right word to answer the questions.
Maybe a good actor that is not for talk shows.
She looked better in other programs (pikacchi or kansha matsuri) with other casts in the drama.

Have anyone seen weeks 24-25 NGB releases? I've only found other encodings and not sure if I should upload them or wait for NGB...
Posted: Sep 26th, '13, 08:21

They are not out yet. I would wait, it's better to have same encodes for whole series imo.

No 720p release from them yet.
Only 1080p capture from TVJapan HD (with huge logo).
But the way, anyone interested in stuff like this?
Yes. yes. I'm interested.
Maybe if you or someone ripped the jp subs, I could sub it too after I'm done with the series.
I'm also interested in subbing (got the ch/jp subs already) the 10 minute special interviews (aired March 20?) so if someone can upload it, I'd appreciate it too. http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopi ... tm#1592848

Since I caught up with the eps subbed (thanks Earthcolors!) I thought I'd read this thread. Omoshiroi desu! But somehow I didn't realise we're in a countdown to march 11. So here I am in a train fighting my tears

If anyone has a different rip of the week 24-26 of Amachan I would very much like to have the link to it. My wife is nagging me to get it because she is really wondering what happens after week 23.

Thanks earthcolors for all your work. Addicted to Amachan now - and would definitely be interested in subs for the mini interviews and concerto special once the main series is finished. One of my fave dramas this year so can't get enough!

Nvm, found the subs.
EDIT:
Does anyone know why the site, http://jpsubbers.x10.mx/Japanese-Subtit ... ex.php?p=/ ,keeps taking Amachan subs down? First they moved it and now today, they took the fall season down. It will probably go back up again but if anyone has the JPN subs for episode 139-156, please let me know.

NGB released the final weeks today. Guess you will be able to grab them in a couple of days.

Since I'm watching with Earthcolors (wonderful) subs and thus having just finished week 22, I'm really scared for week 23! I'll have to watch a little without subs now.

I just watched the last episode.
So, what about Yui-chan? =)
In the end, I was rooting more for her than for Aki.
I mean, Amano filled all her blanks a long time ago.
But Yui...
Man, she needs to step on Tokyo at least once, even if in a tourist trip or a connection flight.
I know, I know... it would go against this dorama's moral, but...
I would love to live in a world where asadoras have SP episodes, so this could happen =D
- I'm really glad with that last sequence with both girls running =)

I just finished watching Amachan a few minutes ago,
Surely (one of ?) the best dorama I've watched in ages,
aside from that, I'm very much interested about any other videos or anything related to this dorama, like the making of, SP, or like this one here:
Avallac'h wrote:But the way, anyone interested in stuff like this?
The only thing I found is that Nounen-chan have appeared in some variety show like Shabekuri 007, Kayou Surprise, Premium Talk, Waratte Iitomo,
can anyone tell me what else I've been missing? and if possible where to get it?

Thanks for your help, but I'm really confused with the languages even with google translator,
but after click and browsing there I think these are the videos that I found, mostly the same as I said in my last post:
Shabekuri 007, some CM, Amachan PR event (or something like that), Tokyo Award,
I have also found some pic of Nounen chan in Girls Lock radio show, but just the picture, can't find the program itself,
what about the videos of the screen cap I quote in my last post? where can we get it?
the DVD bonus boxset is only pictures? no videos of those screen caps?
and the weibo link, do I have to login first? because I can't see anything,

There's a baidu download link in the second post of the Blu-ray thread
Click on that and input the 4 characters password after that and you should be able to download by click the downward arrow next to the filenames.
I forgot you can't see inside weibo without login. Same procedure as above. http://t.cn/z88bheM password:f9qe

is there anyone updating her appearance in Girls Lock regularly?
or maybe someone know how to watch (listen?) live to her Girs Lock program in Tokyo FM from outside of Japan, because I can't find any way,

Yep! The other series by Kudo Kankuro!
I think 11 Nin mo Iru! comes very close to the feeling of Amachan.
If you like the concept of asadora's, then I can definitely recommend Carnation!
Sorry 'bout the double post

While looking for the clip on youtube, I stumbled onto this one:
Aki chan and Natsu bappa in Kuji, Iwate. There are bunches of clips of the Autumn street parade there. Cost me an hour as I couldn't stop watching
Does anyone know where I can watch Amachan's crank up (and the other bonus footage from the DVD)? I was perusing through weibo and found a link where I can download it but the Blu-ray file is too large to download.
I'm feeling a bit empty even though Amachan ended quite a while ago already.

Then you must watch the current asadora Gochisousan, if you're empty, you will be full on a minute...or starved for more

But the rule doesn't apply to dvd's extras files
2/23/09 EDIT:
For clarification, this policy applies to links for drama videos ONLY. Feel free to share songs, pictures, trailers, or other drama-related files as long as it is not the drama itself.... erm... did that make sense? Fear
