I thought I was 176cm tall (5ft7") but found out the other day I was acto 165 cm(5ft4") so yh

sooo confused, I thougt I was taller than Yamapi loooooool

But like, all my life everyone around kept telling me, "wow, you're so tall and you're only 8!? I thought you were 12!" I am a girl and I am 5'9".

I absolutely HATE IT! I am SO jealous of my friends that are 5'5" and below...

They get all of the cute clothes and guys just swarm around them like they are honey! You can't get away with the "look at me I am such a cute little doll" when you look like an Amazon!

I can't wear "cutesy" stuff because I look stupid. The 'playful shy girl" crap never works with me. My friends go shopping and if they buy something heavy men from all over the store rush to them to carry the items to their car. Me... They look at me like "You're taller than me so you can handle it." and walk away.

And god forbid if I wear heels!!! Then I am over 6 feet and people think I am a great looking drag queen!!! I actually had someone say to me at a club 'WOW! You look just like a real woman!"

It is different for tall men in society but it completely sucks being a tall woman...

Wow, I wonder what area you live in because like.... I never had those kind of comments before. Because like, no one talked to me ^_^UUU But I know I would feel weird wearing heels. The first and last time I wore platform boots in 7th grade... it felt weird like I shouldn't be wearing them.

But I hate the double standard thing though! Men can be tall, but not women. I was hoping I would be taller so guys won't like me. But I feel really sorry though about what you've been through. Well, I bet you look really pretty all dressed up and wearing cute clothes!!!!!!!

I am 1.66 m tall. So around 5'4''.
I'm quite tall compared to a lot of girls I know but I'd say I'm pretty average-to-short when it comes to Greek women in general.
IOne of my best friends is around 5'1'' and people always mistake her for a middle school student although she is 22! My other best friend is 1.73 so she is around 5'6'' to 5'7'' and when she wears high heels she towers over us and we look pretty funny walking together all three of us! Like the brothers Dalton from Lucky Luke!

Im about 5'1" .. it's pretty average for indonesian like me but still i kinda hope ill get taller ..but i know it's not gonna happen since im 23 . . this is just why i have more high heels than flats ..

I'm 5'7" or so.. sometimes i want to be taller to be like a model. but i'm never skinny so what's the point. haha i always have a difficult time., the average height of the girls in my school are 5'2"-5'4" and for the guys 5'5"-5'8".. during my elementary days, all my classmates call me giant.. in high school, i never had a good looking partner in proms because tall guys are meant for beautiful girls.. ARGH! and in college, well, i got used to it. height goes with shoe sizes and clothes. i have a hard time looking for a nice pair of shoes that'll fit me and nice clothes and just right pants.. haha! ENOUGH.

I grew an inch in my early 20s and now I'm 5'. I always wished I could reach 5', but now, I wish I was still 4'11. Funny, huh? The only time it really sucked to be so short was when I was a kid, I wasn't tall enough to ride the roller coaster and had to wait for everyone. What made it worse was that kids years younger than me got to ride, just because they were taller.

I´m almost 5´3 I guess (in mine country there´s cm - system)
When my little sister grows up, then I´m the shortest in my family! Out of home I usually wear heels, so I don´t look so short, but without heels I feel really really short (unless I´m with my best friends - they are short too!!!

Actually I love being short! Even tough in my country most of the people are tall (my brother is like two my sizes!) , I always think that I fit perfectly into Japan!

I'm fine with not being so tall but the problem is that i look a lot younger than my real age so the fact that i'm even shorter than a lot of highschool girls gets me mistaken for one myself.
Anyway If the guy is 6 over tall i'd just wear hells if he was to uncomfortable with me being to short.
I'm 5,3 by the way.

I don't have this problem and I'm around your height. I tend to have a bias towards guys shorter than me though. You also ar more intimidating I think. I love wearing heels...

I'm around 182 cm and damn I'm short. But I'm planing to go to Korea and mostly are a bit shorter so it should work out nicely ;D But in Latvia, average teenager(around 18 years old) is about 185cm tall...
