I can't believe the final episode is about to drop. I feel sad this dorama is ending. I know it's just a TV show, but it entertained me so profoundly with it's near-perfect comedy-drama. Hilarious as hell and deep as the ocean - shows like this don't come along often enough.
Sigh....

Issy:
Holy cow! I screwed up just about everything up in my post. Thank you for so being so kind when you corrected my errors. :sorry: Where's the "covered in shame" emoticon?
Same actor? Oh my goodness. I am really going senile. :pale:

Just started Tree with Deep Roots and it looks very strong so far. I am having a bit of trouble finishing the first ep of Queen In Seon's Man. Not crazy about the editing style or the actor playing the modern lead. I know a lot of viewers find him charming and sexy, but I'm just thinking "yuk". The ...

Peggy:
Am I hallucinating?
Probably not. I haven't seen a ton of k-dramas, but wholesale recycling of dramatic events, even specific ones, doesn't seem out of the question. Drama viewing - it's deja vu all over again!

Ethlenn: I highly doubt Lee Gak's thinking abilities. I second that. The crown prince may have been been well-educated and wise in the Joseon time period, but modern living seems to have taken a heavy toll on his brain cells. His sidekicks seem to have lost all of their special abilities, as well. :...

For those who've seen episode 12: I'm sorry, but that was one lame, lame lameity lame kiss. If only our hero could have put as much vigour into the kissing as the painful-looking arm grabbing, that would have been one hot scene! Phooey. Otherwise, still loving the ride. The complications...

jubies33: Hidden: I know! I was like WTH? That whole fire episode was a bad joke from beginning to end. I was thinking did someone kidnap the director and let the janitor run the shoot? It was so poorly shot, blocked and acted I thought I was watching an Ed Wood Jr. movie ("Plan Nine From Outer Spac...

Recovering from a temporary loss of taste and I've picked up History of the Salaryman again.

:notworthy: Korean drama - you are being so good to me these days :notworthy:

For some reason, I thought the first ep was crap, so I dropped this for a while. Rave reviews from other D-Aers made my change my mind, and I'm so glad I stuck with it! Lee Bum Soo OWNS his role. Every twitch of his face, every moment he makes, he has my attention 100%. He's simply sensational in th...

Just throwing a question out there about the use of Joseon vs. modern Korean and honourifics vs. plain speech. Aside from the great physical humour, the language thing appears to be behind some of the best laughs in RP. I know zero Korean :-( but I've picked up on some of it due to body language, re...

This thread is too funny. Personally, I don't discriminate. If you're hot, I don't care where you're from. :P I like to think of myself as having observer status at the United Nations of Handsome Men. :alcoholic: P.S. I will admit that the Korean male's secret weapon is his smile, and not just on th...

I've watched up to the end of episode 7, and I am LOVING Rooftop Prince. :thumleft: This has to be one of the funniest series I have ever seen. I was laughing so hard at various points my guts were aching. RT features hot men who are FUNNY, tons of physical humour, and direction using just the right...

I've adopted a new system for watching K-dramas. Up to now, I've carefully chosen dramas based on storyline, genre and to a lesser extent, the starring actors. Once I made my choice, I would heroically try to stick it out to the end, uneasy feelings that I was wasting my time be damned. I know wiser...

Made it up to the end of the episode four. The only interesting aspect of this drama for me was the retro period, in particular the references to college students living under South Korea's lengthy period of military dictatorship. That got me involved with the characters more than the usual no-conte...

lollercopter:
If you didn't thrill to Keizoku:SPEC, there's always the original Keizoku. Personally, I prefer the original. Alot of stuff you didn't like about SPEC is absent or toned down in the original series, but it's still a quality suspense dorama.
