2 cd rip out on FSS. Hopefully subs will come out soon.

Just finished watching. One of the best romantic movies ever. Highly recommended even without subs as long as you know your basic japanese terms from watching jdramas. :)

One song I've been looking for a long time is from 'Kimi ga oshiete kureta koto' or 'Thing you taught me/ From the Heat'. Its the song that the character played by Tomosaka Rie sings a few times in the show. I asked around in jdorama.com a few years ago but no one knew. :-(

Recently I watched some movies by Imamura Shohei . He seems to make mostly movies about people with really strange relationships. So far I liked his movies Warm Water Under a Red Bridge (2001) and Unagi (1997) a.k.a. The Eel. These movies may considered a little slow by some but have some great mom...

Best japanese movie imo is Shall We Dance. No, not the American one but the original japanese version. Sadly Miramax cut 15 minutes for the American DVD. Some of the best j-movies I've seen: Twilight Samurai - Really excellent acting especially by Hiroyuki Sanada and realistic fighting instead of 'i...

I've watched a lot of jdramas over the past 2 1/2 years and they continue to be my number one addictsion. I've only seen parts of two kdramas when I was back in Malaysia and it was all about the girls crying to the guys, crying by themselves etc. However, I have watched a lot of Korean (and Japanese...

Definitely 'Under the Same Roof'. Last I heard Groink was going to hand the project to some group to handle the rest. Any updates on what is happening?

Didn't particularly like this drama. I thought Ryoko's character got annoying quite quickly, and the main male star was just very...distant. They didn't really feel like a couple, and the story unfolded very slowly... I agree. Its a pretty average drama. The story and dialogue was not interesting. ...

Great acting and story. Just don't watch this together with sleeping forest. (which I did). Ep 1 is quite slow but it really picks up from there. One of KimuTaku's best acting performances.

Hmm, I guess we have different impressions of the drama. You've never met someone who was just too nice for his own good? Who would help those who are in need, no matter the cost to himself? The main character has a child's naivete and an idealism that seems to draw people to him. Never thought abo...

Sonny Chiba rules! The version I watched had horrible english subs but it was a very enjoyable show nevertheless. Highly recommended. Great acting all round.

The only part of the drama I enjoyed was the Coach and the elevator girl. However they turned the elevator girl face (wrestling venecular for good person) too soon. The Tokieda Yuji part is so irritating.

As someone said in another forum, the name of the drama should be 'To Stalk'.

I found Koibumi to be pretty boring. Probably cause the concept and the way the characters responded to it, especially the husband's character just didn't make sense. I continued watching hoping for some revelation that would enable me make more sense of the characters' decisions. I guess whether on...
