Eh, the cousin's not dead - she's actually missing during the earthquake ... and no one knew of her fate (excpet for Yoo-rin's dad who saved her) bcoz there's no record back then ... hope that helps :-) P/S : I guess the private investigators thought she's dead bcoz there seems to be no trace of her...

Mahsuri1284 - you're right to say the viewers are being short changed by the TV station.
