Having watch episode 10 of Gokusen 2, I think that I can definitely say the original Gokusen was better. The last 3 episodes of Gokusen 2 seemed to be missing SOMETHING--perhaps comically, that the original Gokusen had plenty of. Also, Kumiko's love interest in Gokusen 2 was a big let-down.
