...I also am not sure about the romaji, particularly sasa retatte & furimuitari shinakatta.

Right, suru is the dictionary form. It's one of the special verbs, and the books I'm using teach it early on. I think a) because "to do" is really necessary to know in any language, and b) because it can be attached to hundreds of nouns (things) to make new verbs =) So, if you already know some noun...

I don't know, but regional box sets are expensive, so imported ones are gonna cost even more. I agree with you though that it's too expensive. The Import CD's I want are sometimes $40USD for a single, total putoff.

heheh...yeah...i don't think they needed to promote it much. it was way too crowded! i felt uncomfortable taking pictures, because whereever i pointed the camera there would be someones face in the way. lol. it was cool though, A LOT of japanese and many non-japanese were there.
