Additional --
Move the subtitle file into the same folder as your video file.
Rename the subtitle file with exactly the same name as your video file, so you have two files like this: examplevideo.avi and examplevideo.srt.

Subtitle will appear automatically by playback the video file.

Check split parts set of files having all the same filename, except for the extension at the end of the file name (.001, .002, .003, etc.) .

For WINDOWS --- Install this codec and you'll be able to playback mp4 files using GOM Player .
To make thing go smoothly ,restart your PC before you install it. Click Core ACC .

Also, for PC and Mac -- Quicktime player supports mp4 files
