i'm glad you liked it so much but the entire notion of "office romance" is the most hackneyed convention in the universe of japanese dramas...and that's the paradigm on which this drama is based. i've seen dramas dating as far back as early 90s that have had representations present in this contempo...

this drama was not nearly as good as i expected...fair to say it was disappointing especially with the handful of famous celebrities in it...the plot was too contrived...and tsuyoshi's character, the protagonist, was unbelievably portrayed. summer snow was infinitely better and if you think moto ka...

Yes there are many non cheesy shows out there, you just happened to watched some cheesy ones in your selection. If you want drama watch Sekai no Chushin, no comedy there, might get you teary eyed in the process. watch "Million stars falling from the sky" ...it is quite a far cry from the cheesy stu...
