7z would be really nice, because it allows utf-8 filenames in directories and is free on linux and is therefore a good alternative to rar.

I don't think there are security reasons for not allowing it, but one cant be to sure nowadays

Re: [Discussion] Ao no Umi ~LONG SUMMER~

Sure, let me see how it works first then I'll do it. But can I post the link here? Not sure the admin will like it. Let me know. just telling that it is on nyaa.se would suffice but afaik, linking to nyaa or bitsnoop isn't a problem only ddl and streaming links are forbidden. I'm especially excited...

Re: [Suggestion] Link colors and forum themes

changed the forum style back from the standard "prosilver" style to the "SE Square Left" style. after all "SE Square Left" is an official prosilver extension provided by phpBB Limited. And since "SE Square Left" inherits from prosilver, nothing should break when using it. In case some changes will ...

Re: some things went kaput on the site in the last couple of days

I've change the board protocal default so hopefully you won't see that error again. thank you...

Some things went kaput on the site in the last couple of days

I first noticed that the reply from ZemusDS to this post: http://www.d-addicts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=1736728#p1736728 went missing (database-issues?) after that the theme, style and color are messed up now I get Secure Connection Failed The OCSP server has no status for the certificate. which m...

Re: Setting up a new torrent site. Who is willing to help?

Fyi: I uploaded the 62465 of the 64871 torrents in the old db that I was able to find to torcache.net
so you can now easily get them via http://torcache.net/torrent/TORRENTHASH.torrent

I hope that will help to keep them alive for a long time

Re: Does Nyaa require DHT?

if it is a new torrent created by yourself the just include nyaa's tracker and maybe demonii's as backup
if it's an old torrent you can add tracker with http://torrenteditor.com/ and don't change anything that changes the info_hash

as DA2 might still need some time to complete and the usefulness of the reconstructed DA torrents diminishes by the day I decided to put them online: http://exdicts.comeze.com/exdicts/ it is hosted on a freehost, therefore: - no torrent links only hashes --- use them to construct a magnet link like ...
