Yeah, it's a smallpox vaccinnation. I have one on my left shoulder. I took it when I was really really really young, so I don't remember how much it hurts. These days, the scar left from the shot becomes invisible after a while. Mine didn't. >.<

anyone could tell in more details about the history of it?? is the drama 100% follow the history? It hasn't been proven that "Seo Jang-geum" was a real figure who did all the stuff in drama. There was someone by the name Jang-geum, but her receiving the title "Dae" from the king...

hahahahaha.. the english accent is somewhat annoying but it's barable. Note that I had several TAs and teachers with a strong asian accent (they are chinese not korean) so i somewhat got used to it. At least we have to give them credits to TRY! I liked this drama... Kim Tae Hee REALLY mesmerized me...
