my vote goes for 'konna koi no hanashi.' after 'ai no uta,' i'd love to finally see another koji tamaki drama. btw, i picked up his album 'present' when i was in japan this summer. really great music. i can't wait to hear more.

To be fair, I'm still catching up on Byakuyakou and Kobayakawa Nobuki no Koi, so I can't include them, but these were the most outstanding dramas I finished before the new year... (^_^;)

- Kaze no Haruka
- Kekkon Dekinai Otoko
- Kazoku

this drama was guilty of every single imaginable cliche of the romance genre, and if haruka ayase wasn't so impossibly cute, i could never have suffered so much of kazuya kamenashi. still, i have to admit i really enjoyed the ending. it just goes to prove how tried and true those cliches really are ...

Just watched the last ep. What a crappy crappy ending. One of the most rushed endings. I liked the way it ended plot-wise. But I hate so so much that it was sp abrupt!! I would have liked a little bit more development of their relationship at the end... i wouldn't go so far as to call the ending cr...

I have a theory (from ep 6 and on): So now that we know that Ryujiro isn't the one who killed Takumi's father, I think I have an idea who might be the one who pulled the trigger. Now, this is a wild-eyed theory, and it's got a very good chance at being wrong. There are plenty of holes, but I don't ...

Well, I made the mistake of visiting the official website and saw a still photo from episode 9 that was one serious spoiler. Somehow, seeing the two leads with guns pointed at each other, it was no surprise that Yuna was revealed to be Shin-ku in episode 7. But what completely derailed me in episod...

wow! i loved this episode! at first i wasn't too excited about all of the explosions, gun fights, and chases, but not too far into the episode it really began to develop an interesting human story... at the expense of losing yet another original idea for a novel, but i'm still interested in a love s...

What an intense story! I had no idea what this drama was about before I watched it, and I must say the first several minutes was excruciating to watch. I kept thinking to myself, "Is this what's going to happen to me when I fall on a pair of scissors in Tokyo?" But by the end, I had barely noticed h...

today i talked to my ex-girlfriend in tokyo on the phone, and i'm so confused right now because i honestly thought i would never talk to her again. we went through the most drawn-out and, for me at least, painful break up i could imagine going through. in fact, at the very end, she was very cruel to...

I have really enjoyed this series so far. I'd say it's one of the best in recent years. The success of this series, IMHO, depends on the fate of Kataoka. Some believable miracle MUST happen to cure his disease. That would be the only reasonable conclusion to the story, as far as I'm concerned. "Lov...

I am starting to get a little sick of the constant bridge shot all of the time. Its like half the drama is taking place on that bridge. What bridge is that any way? that's just about the emptiest critism i've read. in fact, i want to see more of that bridge now just to spite you. off to watch episo...

lately i've been catching larry david's mock documentary series curb your enthusiasm on hbo (a more descriptive title would have been,"the hilarious misadventures of a socially graceless hollywood jew").... imagine if seinfeild didn't have to worry about network censors or the fcc, and you have curb...
