My worst drama has been mentioned - Pretty Girls Mukodono also got on my nerves, I don't know how I finished it. alos Usu Koi - it was terrible GAH! I thought I was the only one who absolutely hated Pretty Girls; it kicked off with an interesting and mysterious start with Inamori Izumi being the pe...

^ Yeah. I am wondering how close they would follow the anime, more like if they're able to convey same mood, space and time as the anime. The side characters were almost as important as the main character. I think the reason why it was so moving was because the side characters were so human in this ...

Here are some of the important life lessons I've learned from watching J-drama: When a love interest is even slightly artistic, he or she will spontaneously depart for Germany -- just as the romantic possibilities become clear. All of the characters frequent the same neighborhood bar or restaurant ...

Anyone notice how much Sawajiri (Aya) resembles Yada Akiko? She's got the most beautiful eyes~ so cute  That's what I told my friend when he said Aya was really cute. Younger version of Yada Akiko =D I don't know why, but after the fourth episode, my tears subsided a bit and my admiration for ...

I can't even say this drama is predictable anymore. I mean the overall plot isn't anything fresh, but the side plots throw me off track and make me a bum for thinking this drama is actually a cliche for teenyboppers. Pleasant surprise. Love every episode so far.

I've only watched two episodes of this so far. Aside from the great acting, it's probably one of those few dramas that I couldn't quite analyze or put my thoughts into words. I get too emotional. :( The tear jerking in Sekachuu started around episode three, I wonder if the tearing will continue unti...

Re: How did u see Hanayoridango compared to Tai version?

It is probably (copying what others had said) too early to compare, but I'd like to note the minor details the japanese version had considered. From the small things like expensive watches to the big things like Matsumoto Jun's Graaaaaaaaand house. I think they put a lot of effort in the little deta...

Yutaro is a little annoying, isn't he? Or am I the only one who wanted to smack the crap out of him when he made Hiroko cry…? :x ( "Dude! What is WRONG with you? How can you be mean to HER?" ) Well, at least he redeemed himself by defending her later. I suppose it's early in the story too, and he'l...

thats plain to see... even this is thread about kiken na aneki, all posters here are men or big fans of misaki ... so ist natural to man to rate woman performance too :) thats my opinion but...by my side... there is no doubt about Moriyama Mirais skills... i think he is great actor... but misaki is...

I am surprised noone mentioned Itoh Misaki's little brother. I really liked Moriyama Mirai's acting. He doesn't really have the typical idol look but he can definitely act.

The "sweet" girl would probably start to hate Nobuko later because Shuji pays more attention to her ^^;; ... yay for extreme drama prediction? ^^ LOL~ although I LOVE the series, and even though it may be "predictable" to some, I think there's an aspect that makes it more interesting than the class...

Hahaha. This tough, but Japanese actors would be harder to pick. :) 1) Matsu Takako (Obviously...she's in the first Japanese drama I've ever seen. She looks like she never ages.) 2) Takeuchi Yuko (as noted by someone "x-factor," there's something about her that I can't quite pinpoint either, it's no...

^ Yep. The anime soundtracks were mostly consisted of Eurobeat. The movie was really disappointing. I almost fell asleep. =\ I didn't like Bunta's portrayal either. He was cool in the anime but in the movie, he was just a drunkard; almost a comic relief more than an actual character (to me, at least...

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Tifa looks a lot like Ryoko Hirosue (as she is in Slow Dance)? p.s. mmm... reading through posts: was there any doubt that this would get leaked? This was in the news this morning: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050830/ap_on_fe_st/geeks_at_the_movies TOKYO - Declaring you're a "geek" might get you strange looks in some places. But a Japanese movie theater is offering outspoken nerds something positive: a discount. A small movie theater outside...

My first drama was probably Love Generation. Japanese dramas were so popular in Asia years ago (still popular but not as popular as it used to be, I guess) and lots of people bought JDrama VCDs back then. Someone told me part of the reasons why they were so popular was because they had realistic set...

I was reluctant to watch the drama at first because the manga was relatively short (one volume only) and the movie was around two hours. I had no idea how they could make a drama out of something that could have ended in a short time. But after watching the drama, I felt the movie was lacking depths...
