My personal favourite is Maeda Atsuko, but I might be a little biased in that regard because of my interest in her work outside of acting.

I drink hard liquor to de-stress. I'm sure I'll regret this habit later in life.

I just watched the final episode and I have to say that I agree with you guys. I am really disappointed in the ending. That guy literally came out of nowhere. You can't just end a drama novel with "and then he died" and I don't see why a TV series should be any different. I really loved this show up...

You shouldn't take insults from internet racists seriously. Especially as far as Korea and Japan are concerned.

I mean, I once had a girl on Soulseek threaten me with physical harm just because I said I prefer kana and kanji to hangul.

My top five:

1. Konna Koi no Hanashi
2. 1 Litre of Tears
3. Densha Otoko
4. Mada Koi wa Hajimaranai
5. Shiroi Haru

I'm still watching Shiroi Haru, but I can confidently say that it's one of my favourite drama series already.

I've never marathoned a series. I tend to watch one episode per day, two at most. I've always been like this.

It was either Densha Otoko or Hana Yori Dango. I can't remember which one came first. I didn't start watching drama regularly until a while later though and most of the drama series I've watched are a lot older than that. Konna Koi no Hanashi was the one that got me seriously into Japanese drama.

I don't think it's fair to judge drama series based purely on their country (or continent) of origin. I tend to watch more Asian (Japanese, specifically) than American drama these days, but I'd put some American shows like The Wire for example up there with my favourite shows of all time. So I'm not...

I figured I'd create this purely because it didn't already exist and every other board this size seems to have one.

I'll add any suggestions for artist connections. Especially since I don't really have any knowledge of anything but Japanese actors.

I know I'm a bit late in starting this one, but I just watched the first episode and Abe Hiroshi has just made it onto my list of favourite actors.

I've seen him in a few things like At Home Dad and Kekkon Dekinai Otoko before, but never in a role like this. He does it well.

I think it's weird to be proud over something you have no control over...like George Carlin said. You wouldn't say you were proud to be 5 '10. I disagree. I'm fiercely proud of my nation's history and my ancestors. As long as a nation's unique culture survives, the people will celebrate their achie...

Re: Question to anyone that might know about drama...

I was wondering anyone here know if there's a list of drama in categories.... like comedy, romance, action, drama...etc. if so can someone tell me please... There's none that I know of on dramawiki, but you could just Google search the wiki with whatever category you're looking for in quotes. Also ...

I love Scotland and I'm proud to be Scottish. I'm not so fond of the UK as a whole, but I wouldn't say that I hate living here. I have also noticed that a lot of people take their love of other cultures (in this case Japan, Korea and China) so far that they start to reject their own, but it's someth...
