I'm not an expert, but I understood it that way too. I found another meaning for ならぬ。It's "must not do". Maybe it would make more sense this way? I haven't watched the first ep yet. Just wanted to see if I could help in any way.

@Maemi: From what I've read at the K-Drama forums, that drama formula is pretty common there. Nodame Cantabile somehow fits this description. But it's a very very weird love story. It focuses more on comedy. About the "they can't stand each other, then fall in love" part, Hotaru no Hikari ...

BOSS, I think, you might want to give a try. It's a hit or miss though. For sure it looks good, but on the content, it'll be up to you.

@iluvasiandrama: Proposal Daisakusen started out slow for me too. Hang on to it, and maybe you'll find yourself watching a lot of it in a day (like I did). It's pretty annoying though (in a good way). You'll see what I mean when you watch it. Don't forget its SP!

You could also try Meitantei no Okite. It's really funny, but it's still airing, so not all episodes are available yet. If you watch raw though, then watch it now.

Just watched Ichi. Man it was good. I felt that I'd be watching that again. :) Her acting is just awesome...And the singing again too. And the playing of the shamisen. Lol I'm noisy. DL'ing Byakuyakou now, but it's really slow because there are very few seeders. I'm downloading the SARS fansubbed one.
