Anybody have a theory on why there are now about 14 people voting on these each week, down from an average of 180 or so in years past and 250+ back in '05? Seems to reflect the decline of the community aspect of D-A as a whole, which I also don't understand.

Anyone know why the official romanization for this drama's title is "Tonsure" instead of "Tonsura"? Some sort of dialect thing or a pun?

In cases where editors have signed their synopses, can these be modified and, if so, can the attribution be removed? I don't have a jones for modifying summaries, but, as a matter of policy, attribution to an editor seems to go against the wiki spirit of collaboration and amounts to a claim of owner...

It is no more legal to distribute a non-licensed drama than it is to distribute a licensed one; copyright law doesn't make such a distinction. If you own a work, the right to control it includes the right to choose to not distribute it. But it's a distinction the fansubbing community apparently thin...

I'm clearly morally superior to all of you as I would never want to cheat on my wife. That's why I would insist that she join me when I hook up with Koizumi Kyoko. And by "wife" I mean Nakama Yukie who I met on one of my high paying gigs modeling my rock hard abs. The only sad part of the story is t...

There's also Hotelier, a Korean drama starring that Harry Potter-lookalike, which was remade in Japan in 11 episodes less than the original twenty. They're good at miniaturization.

Yes, Mitsubishi makes a special machine that does that, the 顔のローラー, but it's not sold outside of Japan.
