Aibou season 9 (ep 01-02) [Eng Subs]

Postby vulcan300 » Tue Mar 01, 2011 9:29 pm

Vulcan 300 Fansubs is happy to release soft subs for Season 9 of Aibou. This is a surprisingly good drama that we're having a lot of fun subbing. I suggest you check it out and don't worry about missing the previous seasons, there isn't much of a tie-in to the previous stories.

Thanks to the following folks for making this project happen!

Project Leader: vulcan300
Raw Providers: XrayMind
Translator: chigubon
Editor: LadyDarkness
QC: ureshinaki

Enjoy :-)

I can't thank you enough for this!!! This series has deserved better treatment for a long time and it's great to see you guys and XrayMind giving it attention. Good luck... it's a long season. :-)

wow, that's great! for some time I wanted to watch some Aibou, since it has so many seasons, I thought it must be a good if not great series, but watching it raw would be too hard, I'm afraid, and would end up in missing half the fun.
I'm glad to hear it's not neccessary to watch the previous seasons to know what's going on!
Thank you so much! :D

Is there something people who've never seen Aibou need to know before watching this or are they pretty much stand alone?

Thanks for the subs as well! Didn't expect to ever see softsubs for Aibou. Most people don't want to take on a series this long.

I'm happy to see that a few people are liking this series as much as I am. Hopefully more will find out about it as we sub more episodes.

So far I've watched the first three episodes and it is just a straight ahead detective drama with some interesting plot lines. So far there hasn't been anything in the show that you missed out on by not watching a previous season. If there is anything like that I'll provide a note when I announce the release.

So just download and enjoy :-) Episode 3 is ready for editing and Episode 4 is already translated and timing starts tomorrow. Progress on this project is a lot faster than GM Odore Doctor.

Hi, thank you very much for subbing this series.
The plots are usually well written, and the shooting/composition/photography is much better compared to the average police/crime drama.

I spread the word to some friends who surely have already dl'ed the subs.

Thank you very much Vulcan 300 Fansubs for picking up this drama. It's been running for 10 years and I think there aren't that who have seen it. Myself being one of them.

Obviously this is dead, too bad. Any reason why you discontinued it?

There were very few downloads, so we weren't all that into carrying on. Then we got distracted by other projects. It happens.

And yes, it's dead unfortunately. But others are welcome to pick up the torch.

That's too bad, it was getting interesting but if there weren't many downloads then I can see where you might get disinterested.

Anyway, I've enjoyed some of your other projects and look forward to more from your group.

Thanks! The fact that our hobby brings a little enjoyment to others makes it worthwhile :)
