Here's the sync-ed subs

Rename the file to your sync-ed version of 720P of episode 8

I'm contemplating whether i should upload the synced version of epi8
Audio is taken from SD version and re-timed using mkvmerge fraction - 2847/2849

I'm curious... is there a simpler way to retime these subtitles instead of having to do it by hand? Is there a particular software that would allow you to adjust them much more easily?

Thanks in advance.

yes, there are.
i'm using subtitle editor.
but because JIN subs timing break into few parts..
you still have to copy the corrected part out and edit them part by part...
what i mean here is for example, the original files from heiwa break into three parts..
first part don't have timing error, second part delay by 1secs, and third delay further 1secs from second part...
so what i do is, cut out the first part..
as subtitle editor have a button to retimed every line in a duration at once..
so i retimed the second part after cut out the first part..
then copy second part after retimed and so on for third part...

Ah, thank you for the info! :) If I get impatient enough I can give the re-timing a shot myself. :)

I still haven't watched ep9 yet... so I'm debating on whether or not I should watch 9 and 10 now, or wait for the finale and watch all 3 in a row. ;) heh

finally, a nice series finish..
but feel like there'll at least have another sp later on..

some final words..
heiwa fansubs have problem in translating..
especially with japanese name..

such as sakamoto ryoma, they damn like to translate it into sakimoto...even until ep11 still the same problem..
i hope they'll be more careful with that in their future translating project..

There should be another thread with subs that sync to 704x396.

you can just save the page and just change the extension to .srt and that should do it

Click the download link with right mouse button and select 'save target as'.

Maybe you set your browser to open .srt files instead of asking where to save.

Never mind, I didn't read all posts until Zentik brought it up, it seems it can do with 1080p as well. Thanks! :D
