Fumo Chitai [Japanese Subs] (Complete)

Postby qop123 » Sat Oct 17, 2009 4:50 am

Hello, :roll

I'm uploading the Japanese subs for Fumo Chitai.

These subs were extracted from the original broadcast data with a program called "Caption2Ass_mod1".

Checked with the 704x396 Xvid version.

(To display Japanese subs on Windows, East Asian Language needs to have been installed, and at the options of the player, a Japanese or Unicode font needs to be selected.)

Hello,

if you can't use any sub at all, installing DirectVobSub (http://www.free-codecs.com/DirectVobSub_download.htm) or using a media player that has a built-in sub display system such as Media Player Classic, Gom Player, VLC player will let you watch videos with subs.

As you can see on Fansub Map, I'm working on subbing right now,
and I'm doing my best to release it as fast as I can.
The drama is based on the novel and I love its auther, Yamazaki Toyoko.
She also wrote White Tower and Karei naru Ichizoku.
I've been waiting for this drama to come out, so I have a huge love on this drama. :)

This drama is 2 hours long, so it is a lot of work.
So please wait patiently. :)

Hello, :roll

Installing DirectVobSub works more universally, and so I recommend installing DirectVobSub. When you installed DirectVobSub, and when you playing video files, at the right side of the task bar (which is at the bottom of Windows), a green arrow appears. You can configure options from here.

And if you can't play video files at all, installing ffdshow - Beta 6 (http://ffdshow-tryout.sourceforge.net/download.php) should help.

The above is recommended. This way, you can watch with subs with players you like, even with Windows Media Player.

Media Player Classic, GOM Player, VLC are capable players, and so you can watch with subs without doing the above. And so if you want to be quick and easy, these might work as well.

Yes. I've had that same problem in VLC.
It's a font issue.

Go into the VLC preferences and open the Subtitles & OSD Menu.
Then change the "default encoding" to "Universal (UTF8)".

That solved the problem for me.

In fact, if you have similar issues in other media players, it's probably the same problem.

Thanks for the sub.

wag_noi

I use the timing of Japanese subs as a base, and there are many difficult terms
even for Japanese so it helps me to understand better. :)

I don't t think I could keep subbing without his Japanese sub, so big thanks!
